In the playlist you only need to raise the row height in its settings.

The other parts should be fixed in v2.0 that will be released until christmas.

I hope the update will be finished until Christmas.
But at the Moment i have no time to work in it (only the manual.PDF needs to be finished and the Version with the classic anthracite-blue colour scheme).

I'm working on the v2.0, that supports the latest components.
Will come in two different "styles": the MOD (flat - but with options to give it more depth - , black/grey) and CLX ("classics" - the old anthracite-blue colour scheme with depth view by default, but with options to get it more flat).

Release is planned for december, though... and i can't promise anything...

I will not integrate a biography panel by default (i'm not really interested in reading artist biographies and - the main reason - i'm much too lazy to write a script... )
But there are some scripts around for JScript panel and Spider Monkey Panel that can be easily integrated as one of the RESERVE panels.
That's these RESERVE buttons for

The forthcoming v2.0 will support 4k resolution.
Only font sizes and row heights in playlists will have to be fit manually by the user.

2.0 version due soon, this is almost as good news as the fact that you're finally active among us again!

just a quick question, do you plan to implement some kind of easily configurable color scheme changer, or at least a stock light theme of some kind? i've been using your marvelous themes since 2012 now, they've been one constant all these years even after i migrated most of my other programs to light themes. will be amazing if this can finally happen

I already thought about a light version of DarkOne (but how i should call it? BrightOne?)

It is not planned to implement a colour scheme changer, though... some parts of the config can't be changed in colozr that way (e.g. VU Meter backgrounds).

But i will definitely release a version with the old anthracite-blue colour scheme.

Btw. i'm working on DarkOne4Mod v2.0 (as well as DarkOne4Clx (Clx = classics) v2.0 - which will be the successor of DarkOne v4.0, based on the new scripts and enhancements i made for the Mod version).
It will still last some time... have still to rewrite 4 scripts, the elplaylist script and the new manual.pdf.
But maybe you should wait for it before making changes in the current v1.0.

I rewrote the code snippet for you, but with new button images that fit more to the appearanca and colours of DarkOne4Mod (if you don't like them you will have to set the coordinates for your buttons again...).

Hi guys. when it comes to foobar i am a noob. good in following instructions but still a noob.


Today, out of the blue, while foobar seemed to work, nothing was showing. no playback list, no waveform, no lyrics, nothing. if i pressed play, everything was playing, but it was invisible. was running darkone theme v4.

i googled a bit, i saw a new version called darkone4mod, and installed it. playlist appeared as everything else. new skin was fine but not as great as the default darkone skin in my opinion. so again i tried to reinstall darkone theme on top. no change. i am stuck with darkone4mod theme.

so, since i am stuck, id like to modify it a bit to my liking. it just needs a few touches, that i dont know how to do.

first of all, id like these blue boxes that say no cover, to be invisible, if no artwork can be found

would really appreciate any help in this. this is my main concern

secondly the grey area in the bottom, with the control buttons etc, id like it to look sharper. probably it needs a better analysis. and to be smaller in height perhaps. how can i do that?

and last, can i add an artist bio window in the bottom left, where i can choose lyrics etc?

ps. if instead i could be shown how to revert to the old darkone skin, it would be great as well. thank you

I'm having trouble installing new DarkOne.
When I'm trying to import DarkOne4Mod_v1.0.fcl I get error "Need newer foo_ui_columns".

Any help?

I'm using DarOne4 for years now, it's great, and the best looking skin I ever saw.
