Description
Quick Note: Yeah.. its not perfect.. but its good for beginners.Quite a few people have asked me to teach them how to draw. Well you know what? Im just too lazy for that.
And someone else said they didnt understand anatomy, porprortions, the whole "wth is 8 heads".. and the like.
So I got bored. Took a few screenshots and made a tutorial.
Theres your story.
This tutorial just shows how to use the 8 heads. You can also alter the method because A.) I dont remember how I learned it so I just winged it for the tut (lol xD). and b.) there are no RULES in art. Just like the pirates code. Theyre more like.. guidelines
Things to accomplish:
-Learn how to get an about accurate hight and a width that doesnt look obese or about to snap its so thin.
-Learn how to actually map out the body, then draw details (instead of working head down.).
-Get an idea for the relative sizes and widths of certain areas of the body in relation to several other points at the same time.
-Learning how to draw normal, non mutated, non deformed people with the correct amount of fingers and arms the same length (lol).
-Some other stuff that Im too lazy to list.
There was too much freespace between the 5th and 6th paragraphs so I drew a picture d: its completely unrelated to the tutorial. xD
well. Good luck d:
One last note: To those actually USING this tutorial. You CAN alter the style and length/width of areas of the body. You just have to keep it Proportionate.

This is really helpful. I've seen a lot of tutorials/guides that are really pretty, so then it takes longer to load...
But this is simple and will help me a lot

Nice tutorial.
I have counted the heads several times, cause I couldn't belief it really are 8 heads.
The girl in your tutorial has the apearense of a teenager, while most of the time, with 8 heads, people looks like adults, even with 7 heads they already do (at least on my drawings. ) So I always draw teenagers with 6 heads. But I'm really going to try this!

How many heads you use typically depends on the style youre going for. The less realistic youre going for, the less heads you basically use. It does help to get an idea on how to flesh out the body though so it looks more natural. (Even though now that I look at this I see a few things that are off).

I really have to thank you for making this tutorial, it's just plain awesome. I've always had trouble with drawing proportions, even when using the stick figures and box-man things first, but when I use circles instead it just...works. And is almost easy!
So thank you SOOO much! This was just the kind of guide I needed, and my art will become that much better because of it.

Thanks! I always have trouble with proportions without use of "template" figures on tracing paper (fine, I'm cheating
) But this really helps! Good job ^.^

THANK YOU.
I suck at drawing bodies, usually I trace the pose I need from a magazine and then anime-ize it.

There are some things that aren't perfect. This was just the way I learned how to proportion bodies for anime/manga styles.
