*Edit: I ADDED NEGA-NOAH ALREADY 'CUS I NEEDED TO DRAW HIM, lol. I wasn't goin for a 'goth' design, but he looks good, hehe*Here's the third (and the penultimate) set of (re)designs for DuckTales/Darkwing Duck~!!
I had the Friendly Four designs and I had the Muddlefoots designs... so, why not make Nega-Tank and Nega-Gosalyn?
I didn't really did the designs of the rest of the characters that appear in the Negaverse, but maybe someday I will~
I let them their original surnames, 'cus I don't really know how to call them since... well, Gosalyn obviously wasn't adopted by Nega Drake and Nega LP, and in the other hand, I don't think Nega Tank would have stayed with his biological family even if he wanted to.
But... put them Splutterspark-Flood-Bushroot is tooo freaking long, even putting it like SputterFloodRoot... athough, the last one sounds cool to me, lol.
(Which I may call them in the future, lmao)
But yeah, in that episode of the original cartoon is clear that the Friendly Four adopted Gosalyn, and probably Tank too, just because of how his family treat him.
So, in my head-canon, the Friendly Four are a poly couple with these two as their adopted kids. So yeah, that would make them step-siblings~
Although they aren't their only kids... and now I'm realizing that I should have draw Nega Noah with them... fuck...
Maybe I'll do an edit soon to add him ; w ;
But, until then...

Oh, I love their designs! Nega-Tank and Nega-Gos look great, and I am pleasantly surprised and happy to see a Nega-Noah design too! I think having Nega-Gos keep her original last name is a great way to distinguish her from regular Gosalyn. Maybe Nega-Tank prefers to go by Tankard or his middle name, whatever it is, to distinguish him more from regular Tank. Do you think Nega-Noah would be a villain to contrast how Nega-Bud is a hero, or would Nega-Noah just be a rebellious punk teen as opposed to his more friendly looking regular counterpart.

Yeh, Nega-Noah was a last minute thing. I was doing the descriptions of this drawing with only Nega-Tank and Nega-Gosalyn and I realized that I should also draw Nega-Noah, after all he's also one of the kids of the Friendly Four.
Yup, I think so too, but I don't really know about their last name since three of four fathers have last names... at the moment I may leave them with their original surnames, but as I said in the description, I do love SputterFloodRoot as a combine last name... but I don't know... names are hard sometimes xD
And about Nega-Tank, I do believe he likes beign called Tankard... maybe xD
So, about Nega-Noah (perhaps in another drawing I should say some details about him); he isn't a villian, he's pretty much like Gosalyn and just have a different change in his character and likes. Pretty much like you said; he's like... less friendly, I guess xD, more introverted, more masculine, a little more agressive while his counterpart hates fights, but he still loves his father very much, although he has a hard time trusting and bonding with the rest of the family, unlike the regular Noah.
But besides that I didn't thought about more details... I still need to think about his story and his mother (she's most likely a villian like the Muddlefoots).

You're welcome! Yeah, perhaps in the Negaverse, Nega-Noah actually lives with his father rather than his mother, so he, Nega-Gos, and Nega-Tank end up as stepsiblings.
Yeah, it is kinda tricky finding a good combination of their names. Sputter-Floodroot does seem to be the least cumbersome combination of the known last names among the group (or alternatively, if you want to include Quackerjack as well, maybe they combine all their names into something like Quackerspark-Bushflood). I agree; finding the perfect names for anything can be pretty challenging.
Also, Tankard works for me for Nega-Tank since we don't know his middle name. I bet he'd actually be able to figure out a way to traverse the two dimensions, perhaps first establishing contact with his inter-dimensional alternate brother Honker.
Oh, cool! He's another example of a character inverse rather than an alignment change. Maybe children just undergo personality shifts rather than being changed from good to evil and vice versa, and thus can become more (or less) susceptable to becoming evil (or good). It's kinda like a yin-yang swap rather than a straight good-evil shift.
Oh, interesting! I wonder if she'd be the dishonest con-woman since Nega-Bud probably wouldn't be a conman like his regular verse counterpart.

Yeehhhh, they're step-siblings! Although he still lived with his mother in the Negaverse, but this time around he did run away from home to find his dad.
Yup, names are pretty tricky sometimes... but I think I'll go with Sputter-Floodroot (which btw, love how you write it) eventually... for now I'll leave them with their original surnames.
Pretty sure Tank's middle name is Herbert as well... but how knows, I think is something we'll never find out.

Cool, glad I was able to help out! I figured hyphenating the name would help it flow a little better and not appear as cumbersome while still being your name idea (plus hyphenating works great for combining last names for marriage ).
The H will forever remain a mystery. Yeah, it'd be pretty awesome and heartwarming if those two were able to meet each other!
Neat! It's nice to have another example of a Negaverse counterpart who is just opposite in personality but still a good character, like Nega-Gos. The Negaverse is hard to figure out exactly how it works, but its fun to imagine ideas and theorize about it! Cool, I'm interested in seeing how much further you develop the Negaverse concept if you do!

Yeh, how knows what his middle name is.. even in the episode Herbert just says literally 'H' when he says his full name.
