Description
Final set (for now) of (re)designs for DuckTales/Darkwing Duck~!Just in time before our Goofy boy shows up!
Soo... now that he's gonna appeared, I decided to draw his family. I'm not sure what his canon will be in this reboot, but I wanted to do this anyway... I'm still a little piss about Disney wanting to make Max not-canon... but whatever..
So yeah! About Max: I'm not sure if I want to make I'm a young adult, like in the second movie, or an older teen, like in an escenario of a couple of years after the first movie, with 16 or 17.
He was approximately 14 (maybe) in the first movie, so I'm basing on that.
And if I decided (or it's metioned in the reboot) that he's a teen/older teen, that'll mean that I'll change Sylvia's story/profession a little.
Instead an University librarian, she could be a High School librarian (or some kind of professor), most likely transfered or something like that.
But aside for the possible new canon that I could make with this, let's keep going with Sylvia.
After a period of time dating, Goofy and Sylvia decided to get married ^w^
And that's when George Junior come in scene~!
He's not exactly an Oc, because I got his idea from 'Fathers Are People' from 1951, which is the first time that Goofy appears with a son. So yeah, Junior was the first version of Max so many years ago.
Then, Disney decided to change Junior into a more solid idea, and they created Max Goof for Goof Troop in 1992.
So yeah, I just decided to use Junior and make him is own character as the son of Goofy and Sylvia (besides, it's great the he already looked similar to her, lol).
And we came to the last character of the Goofy's family.
That's Glory-Bee Geef.
I believe she was Goofy's very first girlfriend/love interest. She appeared for the first time in a comic strip in 1969 and had a lot of appearances after that I believe.
Well, because she is his first love interest (maybe) a lot of people like to believe (and it's their canon) that Glory-Bee is the deceased mother of Max and wife of Goofy.
And I have to say that I really like that theory, so I did her re-design too next to her family.
So yeah... this time around I write a loooong description xD
Besides all that, the only thing I have to say is that I have no clue about what kind of dog breed are any of them xD
Sylvia gives me Doberman vibes... but I don't think she's that kind of dog... even if they're my favs xD
But whatever, I just hope you enjoy this last set!

It would be nice to see that they bring back Silvia Marpole back into the show even if it's a little homage like the photo of Max and Roxanne.

Wether or not this would canonically take place after An Extremely Goofy Movie, but it would be nice since they seem to be paying a lot of homage to even the smallest of characters from both the comics and the classic shows.

Oh, I love these designs for the Goof family! I definitely do not agree with potentially making Max non-canon. Seriously, he should become friends with the triplets and Webby. I also love your design for Sylvia and her and Goofy's son, Junior, as well as Max's birth mom! I also like how you based the designs of Junior and Glory-Bee on characters that actually appeared before to help round out the Goof family. If they every did a Goof Troop reboot, I would love to see this much thought put into it!

Yeah, I don't know why they wanted to do that... I mean, if they have done that, how would they explain the two movies and the cartoons?
Besides, he's one of the most loved characters of Disney for sure...
But well, I think they already confirm something in the second episode about that.. but I didn't watch it yet, so can't say for sure xD

Aww, thank you so much! I just like to search about the characters in general, and that way one can find a lot of things hehe sometimes it's annoying 'cus I change things a lot, but I do like to look for details and shuch things hehe

Well, about that I think they already said something in the second episode, but idk... I haven't watch it yet xD But yeah, either way it's really nice to see Goofy in the reboot.

Honestly, from what I heard of the series (Ducktales) Goofy and Mickey never really appeared... or mentioned by Donald. I always see those three as best friends

Well, they announced some new characters, and Goofy was among them, so yeah. Maybe he'll show up in the second episode and in some other of this season.
And... I don't know what their friendship has to do with anything xD
I don't know, actually, lol.
I guess it's to show how the arm would look, like, for references at the time to draw them, I suppose.
