Actually this doesn't look bad. The fact the neck isn't finished kind of gives it something extra. If you had a bg for it you could have it as a sun ray glare on the white of the fur.

aww, well thanks . My mom is an artist too... very good at drawing what she see's, whether a picture or something from an artbook and I marvel at how she can do that sort of thing, I have no concept of how to draw what I see, as I see it, unless it's simple. My mind tends to work different, I see things as inspiration or themes... I know my mom marvels at how I can draw from my imagination, aka create things without an exact reference.

In short, we both have our own talents
