My October card for : Hazel for =LadyGhostDuchess , dressed in her Halloween costume as fictional sleuth Miss Marple (with her little heart-shaped magnifying glass!
). This was a fun one, because HALLOWEEN, JOY!! 
I also really loved doing the leaf/candy corn border.

This really does look amazing, with all those details and gorgeous clothes and colouring. Such a lovely combination of autumnal colours as well as the slightly creepier trees and graveyard style fence. Your ATCs are looove.

Ah, thanks! I love doing these little cards. They're so fast, it's always really satisfying to make something that feels like a finished piece of art in an hour or so.
Candy corn is one of those things I think you either love or you hate. Personally, I really like it! It's VERY sweet and soft, almost like an extremely dense marshmallow without the spongy texture. It's got a little bit of a honey flavor to it as well. If you can get your hands on a little bag, you should try it! Hell, if you want, I can send you some in the mail.

huh, i always thought candy corn was a hard candy - i have no idea where i got that from but it was one of those odd misconceptions - I think i am going to have to try to get hold of some, afterall halloween is the traditional candy corn holiday (i assume i am right about this....

Ah, thanks! The magnifying glass is actually taken from Miss Marple's real costume from the TV show, I just had to put it because it's so recognizable. :3 I'm so glad you like it! I was DEFINITELY feeling the Halloween love.

This is...wow. This is so breath taking, so amazing!! I absolutely love the clothing that you put her in - it screams Miss Marple! I love it so much!!!!! I wish I could say I am a loss of words for it, but I am so over taken by this, it was really a great thing to wake up to this morning!
The magnifying glass is such a sweet touch, it adds a "cuteness" to the image. I LOVE the border BTW it is really really spectacular, you really did an amazing job on this! Really blown away by this.

I agree! I cannot wait until I get a few books in and can write a Halloween novel with her, she is totally dressing up as Miss Marple lol. I am very pleased with this image, it makes me one to cry in all honesty. It is very breath taking, very amazing. I always know how scanners are so no biggie on it!!
