It took a while, but I finally came up with a different kind of dating.What kind?
Why, the dating of ancient (zutarian) artifacts, by their later incarnations, obviously!
I'm not sure if it's radiocarbon dating or not, since I know very little about archeology, but who cares?Working together in the lab at FNU, Professor Zuko and his -ehem- grad student Katara seem quite intrigued by the betrothal pendant Katara has just finished cleaning.
Not sure how much I like this one. I was really, really tired when I drew it.

I... don't think it's radiocarbon dating though, that involves measuring the different amounts of Carbon-12 and Carbon-13 in it.... or was it Carbon-14?

That is a different, and really cool idea. I like how the Zuko incarnation is holding the crown, and the turtle duck on the shirt. Is the turtle duck the mascot?

Yup. I decided the mascot had to be either a dragon or a turtle-duck, and I like turtle-ducks better.
