Lucky coin despite his name is not lucky at all.
Being a sweetheart under the saddle and actually in any other circumstanses around people, he gets very defensive around any other horse, starting from yearling and going to adult stallions or other geldings.
He seems to get into weirdly stressful state of mind being among other horses.
He always ends up beaten up or chased away from herd or food source.
He is clearly one of the lowest ranked horses.
And it seems that he, being an adult working horse does not grasp the key principles of horse-to-horse communication.
And being pretty gregarious by his nature, he finds his comfort in communicating with friendly critters of other kind - dogs, humans, cats and even chickens. Yet last ones often do not appreciate his attemts of any sort of interraction.

Starlight
Starlight... That what his previous owner thinks is the name of this horse.
Stable hands actually call him Facehugger or Bug.
Maybe they see those things in his beautiful mark on forehead, but more likely, they are just not impressed with stallion`s beheavour.
Its a mean beast with a lot of nasty habbits.
Picking hooves? - nope
Farrier`s visit - farrier will be lucky to get away with his head being intact.
Entering his stall box? - you wish.
And this list can go on and on.
Under saddle he`s pretty ok to try to buck you off... after getting into full speed galop with no reason for it. rub you by a fence, lay down under the saddle... And a lot of other "nice" things are in his arsenal.
This stallion is very brave, somewhat blunt, and its not a horse in front of whom you`d like to try to show who is the boss by meanings of brut force.
Between choosing flight or fight, this stallion without any second guessing will pick option # 2.
He definitly in need of learning some good manners. He did not end up on meat hook in some buther house only because his old owner, an elderly lady (who did not approach him for anything then give him some treats) wrote in her last will that this horse as and others needs to find good home.
So, loyal workers decided to give this horse last chance. Maybe with some magic of sedative shot they will make someone to believe that this devilish facehugger is actually a sweet lazy pony, perfect for newbies and to anyone else, except them.

Remember the Facehugger? Err i mean Starlight?
This is his full brother.
Very quiet and obedient horse.
Once upon a time he was thought to be a perspective horse for dressage. But then, being a pretty young and silly horse back then, Phillip got spooked by something and ran into a wire fence.
He spent half of the night, tangled in those wires.
Horse was saved, yet he became blind with one eye and got terrible scars. All these unfancy things made him not suitable for professional dressage ring.
For long time sinse then Phillip worked as school horse and carriage horse.
Actually, in spite of his trauma and appearence he is talanted and good horse. He learn things fast.
He can get spooky only if something comes from his - literally - blind side.
During all his life he endures issues with legs, especially hind ones. They are very prone to swelling.
But still, Phillip has very soft gaits, he`s gentle and easy to control.
And he has almost no bad habbits. Only ripping of and chewing his own blankets.
And he is very strongly connected with his bad boy brother - Starlight. Phillip is very, sickly clinging to him. And even if it seems that Starlight bullies him, he is pretty much protective about Phillip. Just like true sibbling - " Hey you, do not bully my bro! Its my job! Only i can do that!".
