Description A splashpage + interface for my fictional field guide on an equally fictional world, Orbis. Part I: Vulcanesia. There are more to come, including all of those major landmasses depicted in my previous Orbian atlas.

There are five primary ecosystems in Vulcanesia, including:

a. Coral reefs, seething with calcium, life and color, are growing rampantly like some diverse invasive weeds in the turquoise-blue coasts of the islands.

b. Island jungles, basically tropical rainforests with impenetrable undergrowths, open canopies, colorful avians and lots of strangler plants.

c. Tropical swamps, abodes for botanical carnivores, giant amphibians and coal-swamp vegetation.

d. Central volcanoes, dotting the centers of the islands, are home to heat-loving herbs and some aberrant, ornate lava-spewing fauna (not dragons, eh.)

e. Pahoehoe beds, alive with lava streams, hydrothermal communities and chemical concoctions that are deadly for the rest of the Archipelago's native inhabitants.

________________________________________________
I imagined this interface to be a tactile, interactive hologram that spreads out from the glassy core.

...and many thanks for , who made all of those futuristic-looking ornamentations, that pepper lots of my recent artworks. His tech-brushes are sleek, high-res, clean and brilliant!

By the way, I dived into the world of interface-making pretty recently, so........forgive me if there are any ridiculous looking bars or orbs that are abound in this deviation

critiques encouraged.

Very pretty. It would look good animated, on a website.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I never have the proper amount of patience required to study flash animations, complex html and therefore how to design my own website. I really wish I could, but, ehhh......

ahhh I see..... well, they are part of the field guide (which guides you throughout the environment) so, I had to put the information there, otherwise the guide would be rather non-functional. Anyways, if you liked the piece without annotations, I shall post it soon

thanks friend!

Thanks so much Al ! I'm fairly happy by the way it turns out. Still don't like the space layout though, don't you think it looked a little too cramped ?

Thanks dude

x3 np at all. Personally, I find the layout to be interesting and unique. I don't find it cramped. :] But I know that it's hard to judge your own work as an artist. :] Take it easy on yourself :3
