My favorite spooky Depp, Ichabod Crane of Sleepy Hollow Legend.You know, I scowered book stores this month for copies of Washington Irving's folktale classics, but sadly I missed out on it. I thought about downloading the audio book of it onto my ipod, but you know...there's jut something so magical about actually holding a book and reading the words that digital downloads will never be able to replace.
Happy All Hallow's Eve my dears! Watch out for headless horsemen with an axe to grind!

My anatomy is FAR from perfect, but I try to at least get in the realm of accuracy in my own style.
If you want to improve your art skills the best advice is to just DRAW. Every day. All the time. The more you draw the more you will perfect your technique and develop your own style.

I used to have this movie on both dvd and vhs but I gave up the former as a gift when I got the dvd, which was stolen, along with pretty much all my other Depp dvds ;_;. Woe is me.
I had a Crappy Halloween! I spent the whole of Friday and Saturday in the hospital with a staph infection on my forehead and eyes swollen so badly I could scarcely see! But I'm -almost- all better, now! I had to cancel/postpone all my plans for my favourite holiday >_>. No fun!

Last night was my rescheduled Halloween Party, for which I spent all day decorating and preparing, and a total of SIX people, of the originally invited 20 showed up! And all but 2 of them left hours early!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?! *sigh* To quote the Phantom of the Opera, "When will I ever learn to keep away from PEOPLE?!" >_>

Ichabod's one of my favourite Depp Portrayals.I convinced my friend to watch sleepy hollow tonight adn we just finished watching it.
hope you find the book of Washington Irvings talessoon, they are so great, I was lucky enough to get a copy of the book in the summer and I love it, I must have read sleepy hollow a few times by now but it never gets old.

Depp did such an amazing job creating Ichabod's personality, normally I'm sure people would be put off by how much a coward he is, but he's really brave under it all and so very endearing.
I'm sure I'll pick up a copy of it when I least expect it, and Christmas is coming soon so I could always ask Santa.
