Y'know, I've seen a few artists ape this style (including me) and something was really off.
When I saw Lucifer and Judas, I thought these were just really good copies, or altered copies.
But now I can see that you did your homework. A lesser artist wouldn't bother with that.

Thanks for noticing! This style of art is so interesting to me that I enjoy the process. I am not a "spiritual" person but creating an icon starting from the traditional basics feels like a sacred ritual in some ways.

Thanks for the comments! Since I never colored anything in Photoshop before I just looked around online for some coloring tutorials. There's a lot of helpful stuff out there. Other than that I used a lot of different layers for each individual color. For example, I used about 7 layers for the skin tone.
