Physical Description:

Slightly taller than average height. Athletic and toned without losing her natural womanly charms. She has natural long red hair, sparkling green eyes and freckles on her nose, cheeks, neck, collar and shoulders.

Personality:

Redwing is a loyal, passionate, driven woman. If she makes her mind up that she wants something or wants to accomplish a goal, she will find a way to do so. Often times this can lead to tunnel vision and other aspects of her life can suffer, but she remains focused all the same. Sometimes people see her as not caring/non empathetic but she is a caring person, just doesn't always show it. A natural leader, able to make the tough decisions without showing that those decisions hurt her emotionally at times.

Back Story:

At the age of 6, Michelle Hunter went to an air show with her dad and fell in love with the jets. She told her dad then and there that she would become a pilot one day. Eleven years later, she graduated in the top five percent of her high school class a year early and immediately enrolled in the Air Force where she later went on to officer training school. It was her training that she rose as a a natural leader, often recognized by her superiors and given command opportunities early on. Her marks in combat training and tactics got her name on a short list for an off-the-books project being held by a joint military task force - Project Atheron. Eager and excited to take this rare opportunity, Michelle jumped at the chance to join up. It was there that she was fully briefed on the goals of the project. To create super powered humans. Undergoing rigorous and often painful tests and procedures, Michelle pressed on, determined not to give up. Her will to live was attributed at least twice to her staying alive during some of the medical procedures. The survivors of the enhancements procedures were then grouped together and placed under the direct command of the first successful test subject of Project Atheron - a beautiful woman code named Hawk. During the year that they trained and took control of their powers, Michelle grew close to her CO, and eventually the two fell in love. They did their best to keep the romance a secret while around everyone on base but when alone or with only the other subjects they would show affection towards each other. One day, alone in the nearby forests as the two girls curled together near a lake while out on "training exercises" Hawk kissed Michelle's neck and asked her not to show up to base the next day as a personal favor and to take the other girls out for the day - no questions asked. She of course agreed, completely blind to anything that could possibly be wrong. Even ignoring her own mind's questions as to why she didn't want her or the other girls on base. It wasn't until that afternoon, when all the girls were out on leave together that all of their cellphones went off at the same time, informing them to meet at the backup site immediately. Once there, they were told about everything their mentor and former trainer had done. Hawk went rogue and attacked the entire facility, killing over 90 percent of the staff and personnel as well as destroying all the research and equipment. It was then that the girls were given their official code names. Michelle was given the name Falcon but requested the name be changed to Redwing. When asked why, she said that it was for personal reasons and was given approval. Redwing was then placed in charge of the team and given her first order. The first order she received in a full leadership capacity. It was the first and last thing she ever wanted to hear.

Powers:

Energy Manipulation - Can channel energy into short bursts or long blasts of varying magnitudes. From a flash of light to powerful blasts to tear metal.

Flight - Can fly up to Mach 1. Can approach Mach 2 at great strain and only in short bursts.

Toughness - Increased physical toughness enabling her to resist most physical damage (cuts/blows/etc). Skin is resistant to non armor-piercing projectiles.

Increased Metabolism - Thanks to her enhancements, she has an accelerated metabolism and immune system. Allowing her to heal faster and recover quicker from injuries and poisons.

Weaknesses:

Gauntlets - Her gauntlets are used as stabilizers for her powers. If they are damaged/destroyed and she attempts to use her powers she can end up passing out from the strain her powers put on her body up to the possibility of her body exploding.

Human weaknesses - Although she is scientifically enhanced, she is still vulnerable to most dangers that a normal human would have. While she does heal faster and her body handles toxins/chemicals faster, she still suffers the effects of these attacks
