It was a normal day at school. Janice had just left her cheerleading training, and was strolling down the corridor, when she spotted two people: Daria and Ralph. They were holding hands and flirting. Janice couldn't help but cross her arms and frown in disgust. Despite everything that had happened between the three of them, despite everything she had done, she still held feelings towards Ralph. Seeing him so happy with her former best friend tore a hole in her heart. She was not just jealous, she was absolutely envious of the couple. Why couldn't she share their feelings for one another? Why did it all had to end up like it did?

Suddenly, something startled Janice. She looked to the right, and noticed there was someone next to her. It was Phoebe, that weird girl from class nobody talked to. As usual, something was wrong with her. For some reason, Janice couldn't see her face clearly, even despite that she was right in front of the girl and looking at her. She was also looking straight into Janice's eyes with a smile on her face. Janice talked to her with an annoyed tone.
"What do you want, freak?"
"Oh, I was just dropping by to see you", the little girl answered, speaking with a pleasant and happy tone. "You don't look too happy, so I thought I might cheer you up."
"You've got to be kidding me. Cut the bullcrap or I'll teach you not to waste my time the hard way." Janice was not in the mood to deal with a noisy little girl who thought she could be her friend.
"Don't worry, I won't take you much time. I'm here just to give you this." Phoebe reached out her hand towards the cheerleader, as she was holding... a pink lollipop? Janice was confused. "Take it. My mom always said that when you feel unhappy, sweets give you a push in the right direction."
Janice took the lollipop from Phoebe's hand and examined it. It was pink, and still had transparent wrapping around it. It actually looked quite tasty.

Janice sighed "If this is some sort of prank, I'll kick your ass when I-" but Phoebe was no longer there. How did she leave her side like that? It was kinda creepy how she had just disappeared. "Weirdo" the cheerleader muttered.
She unwrapped the lollipop and decided to take a lick. It was very sweet, and strawberry-flavored. "Hmmmm, tasty", Janice said, as she licked the lollipop again, and again. As she was about to take it close to her tongue again, she noticed her hand was fading. Terrified, she looked at her increasingly transparent hand, and body. She realized, in shock, that she was disappearing, as she felt her presence lighter and lighter. She clasped her hair and screamed, but no sound left her mouth. In a moment's notice, Janice was no longer there.
Nobody in the busy hallway had noticed the odd disappearance of the cheerleader. Only Phoebe looked at the empty space where Janice once stood. She grinned mischievously, and crossed her arms. "Let's see how you'll take things from here..."

Here's chapter 1 of the latest story! I mean, not really the latest, I have it hanging here for a year -_- anyway, it's the latest for you guys.
Finally, I get to introduce Phoebe properly! I hope you guys grow to love this girl!

Tomorrow I might not be able to submit the new chapter. Let's see if I can do it Wednesday.
