Description Hello.
I started this tutorial for one reason.
To share a secret.
The secret of free live hoodies.

Nah, but with all due honesty, the reason I made this tutorial was to help people create hoodies for their Kisekae characters better.
Sadly, Kisekae 2 doesn't have a hoodie option yet, and while this isn't fixed, people have to make their own hoodies.
Now I've seen lots of hoodies around, some of them pretty great, but there are people struggling to create hoodies for their characters.
So, I hope people can learn from the easy steps I've presented here.

Joining us on this tutorial is Joy, from Ellie's Strange Life, Years Later. Coming up with her hoodie was challenging, but I believe I made the right choices.

I might do a part 2 for hoodies with the hood pulled up. If you guys ask for it.
What do you think about my method?

Come on, I can't believe the Kisekae-Mentors group was deleted. People actually learnt stuff there. That's sad.

EDIT: As a matter of fact, there's one more thing I'd like to warn you guys about this. Since we're using ribbon add-ons for the strings, you should avoid tilting your character's head. If you do it, since they're attached to her head, they'll be tilted along with it, and you'll have to reposition them.
And those things that you use to cover the strings' ends don't need to be hearts, everybody, as long as they look good.

I usually only make hoodies like this, but you can make them in different styles.

There's also a belt that can look like a zipper you can use to make it more convincing as a hoodie.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TF-SquareSting In reply to Aubrey-chansthegirl [2017-02-04 16:38:37 +0000 UTC]

What do you mean? Using it as an actual zipper for the hoodie, or using the zipper to make the hood's inside?
Because if it's the latter, that's impossible. Belts don't go any higher than the chest line, unless you bring them all the way forward, but that ends up blocking the character's head and body. Unless you use two models for the same character, one with the belt and another without it, and put the latter in front of the former.

I have an example in my gallery. If you wanna see it's right here: aubrey-chansthegirl.deviantart…

TF-SquareSting In reply to Aubrey-chansthegirl [2017-02-04 22:15:06 +0000 UTC]

So, the former. Yeah, you can use a belt as a zipper, and also use other belts for the pockets.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aubrey-chansthegirl In reply to TF-SquareSting [2017-02-04 22:59:33 +0000 UTC]

I only used one belt

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TF-SquareSting In reply to Aubrey-chansthegirl [2017-02-05 13:55:15 +0000 UTC]

I know, but you can customize any hoodie in Kisekae with belts to make them look like zippers, or pockets.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KuffinsUniverse In reply to TF-SquareSting [2017-01-23 00:46:05 +0000 UTC]

maybe, it keeps showing a ribbon instead of the stick :'\

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TF-SquareSting In reply to KuffinsUniverse [2017-01-23 01:29:01 +0000 UTC]

You can change the ribbon if you click the arrows in the part that says 01/64, it will change them to the next shape instead of the ribbon. The stick is number 40, I think

You can also change their position, their tilting, and if they are to the left, to the right or both.

TF-SquareSting In reply to KuffinsUniverse [2017-01-22 02:34:17 +0000 UTC]

It isn't as complicated as it looks o3o although it might look overwhelming for someone new to Kisekae. But yes, most of the options used to make a hoodie only show up in Expert mode.

Ah, good idea! ^^ I've also planned on doing that, and adding side pockets. Just be careful that any object or the character's arms will clip through the zipper now.

The strings ended up behind the hoodie, so you couldn't tell if I even put strings on my character.

Check the tab for hats, ribbons, glasses and hairpins. Can you see the arrow pointing up next to the slider that controls the strings' size? Keep pressing it until the strings appear in front of the hoodie.
