I'm usually not a bandwagon kind of person, but these Error Message things have gotten so popular lately, I figured I'd give it a shot. I took my Adventure Game story as inspiration. WARNING: TG may be involved!EDIT: No More Entries from people who haven't posted please! I'm trying to finish this up so I can get back to work on stories.

The girl turns to you and begins talking. "So you got chosen by one of those little furballs too? I swear they just don't get it. You can't just change a person's appearance and expect it to work out!" She looks visibly angry, and a little sad when she looks at her quite flat chest.

"I got more then that changed" I sighed. "Now I need some source of income and a whole new identity, and a place to live. I take it that this happens a lot?"

Aqua nods to you. "Yup, apparently those guys aren't the best at this, they always screw up and have crazy side effects. I used to be a busty blonde! But now I'm a flat chested, spindly brunette. It's not always fun, but somebody's got to do the job. The manager can help you, she's pretty good at this sort of thing."

"I think I got ya beat. I was a good 16 inches taller, and male. Now I'm a petite goth girl" I say, a tad embarrassed "Can I talk to this manager?"

"Wow! First I've heard of that! Anyway, she should be out soon." An older, but stunningly beautiful woman walks out from behind the counter. She seems surprisingly cold and bitter. She gestures to a seat in the restaurant.

I nod to Aqua and then go to sit in the indicated seat. "Hello, ma'am. I'm Jade" I introduce myself politely, not sure what to make of this lady

The woman sits down and looks you over. She doesn't look impressed. "So you're the new girl?"

"I guess I am" I look down slightly. Not used to that. "The squirrel said you might be able to help me" I say, getting my baring back, hoping to come off as more confidant

She looks at you again and looks away for a moment. "Of course, I can find you a cheap place if you need it. And you can work here." She seems rather cold for someone helping you so much.

I bow slightly "Thank you, Ms- er, I don't think I caught your name?"

"You can just call me manager for now."

"Yes, ma'm. When would you like me to start?" I ask, with my head a tad crooked, my pigtails hanging

"Quite soon if possible. Just go in the back and put on a uniform, Aqua will coach you while we're in the slow period." She walks back to her office.

"Well, I guess thats it, then" I stand to talk to Aqua and get dressed (wanna end it here for now?)

This sounds like a fine time to end this tale, perhaps this tale will continue in the future, perhaps it will not, in this world, who can really say?

Why be scared little human? Isn't it the natural order of thing for higher beings to control lower ones? For gods to rule over men? For men to rule over animals? No matter, you will soon understand the power I have over you. You feel a slight tingling across your body.

Oh I assure you little human, this is not the cold you're shivering from. As you look upon your puny limbs, you see something that looks like a scale.

You feel your nails elongating and coming to a tapered point. Your teeth feel a little odd as well.

You see the scales starting to grow all across your body and feel a great pressure near your waist, you feel a new protrusion coming out of your body as your tail forms.

As you continue to be surprised at your changes, you feel a great pain throughout your body. You find your hair to be falling out at an incredibly fast rate. You feel your legs cracking and bending as you seem to be getting closer to your floor! You also feel your mouth extending outwards!

You feel ever more pain as you realize that your mouth has elongated into a reptilian muzzle while you are significantly smaller than you remember. As you look at yourself, you realize that you are some creature from those fantasy stories, a Kobold!

You speak, and find that your voice croaks out in a high-pitched, scratchy squeak. However, now you find your position changing. The sights around you shift and blur and you find yourself steeped in darkness.

You scan your surroundings with your new eyes that allow you to see quite well in the dark. You are in a dark, dank cave. It used to be some sort of ruin, but now it has fallen into disrepair. You are a Kobold, and you see many of your kin in the dungeon. You are a simple monster, possibly to be slain by some adventurer passing by. Maybe you'll survive, especially if you repair the traps like the other Kobolds are telling you to, maybe you'll just succeed.

Well then, I suppose I should leave you to your work then, there probably isn't too much left in this little tale. I thank you for working so hard. I wish you success little Kobold, may you survive the adventurers and heroes!

Oh, I see. You have some wish for power do you? To destroy all in your path with your mighty form, to crash the poor little humans who wok and fight and build so hard to dust in an instant. I'll have you know that despite seeing this film, I'm not entirely sure as to which creature you refer. I'll make sure to have fun with you anyway though...

You understand more than you let on, but just for the sake of clarity. Otachi was the flying one.

Ah yes, the flying one. I'd rather you not give up such a detail, it was such a brilliant reveal that certainly upped the stakes. But no matter, you find yourself in a city, surrounded by rather tall skyscrapers. Next to you is some sort of container for hazardous wastes, you feel a bit odd, sick perhaps?

Your spit lands in the bucket, contributing almost nothing to its contents. You feel a flash of searing pain as your body contorts downwards, you feel something in your hands stretching outwards.

You try to crawl forwards as your fingers seem to shift into mighty talons. You feel more pain wracking your entire body, your body seems to pulse with it, your muscles electrified and your skin burning. You feel your throat cracking and your organs churning and boiling inside you.
