The sun sets over an icy Lake Superior shoreline near Sawpit Bay, roughly 80 km north of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. This was actually taken at the same spot as [link] , only 26 days later. This is a series of 4 vertical shots stitched together horizontally.Location of photograph: [link]

Usually the best landscape shots are done early morning and late afternoons. This seems like quite in the middle

I particularly love the way the light looks on the ice itself and the rocks below. Makes em kinda glow a little like they're warming up or trying to absorb the heat. *chuckles*
