Description Canada in the Strike Witches universe, not as hard as I thought it would be, I thought it would be imposible to do like the United States of Liberion map which is a nightmare to figure out but this one was very easy thankfully, it's also very interesting on how it looks, I wonder how life it's in this alternate Canada.

Enjoy!

Why is Newfoundland labelled as Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia a part of New Brunswick, and enlargened Anticosti called Prince Edward Island?

It's not...see the thing as you can see is that the terrain that belongs to Quebe has been torn appart from the mainland and it twisted a bit, pushing those islands to that possitition, but they are clearly meant to be those three Islands.
Newfoundland is still there actually, but I saw maps of Canada in 1945 where Newfoundland is not counted in the terrain, I think it is because it had a different type of goverment wasn't it? It wasn't until 1948 I believe that it was counted as part of Canada, so because this is a map of Alternate Canada in 1945, that's why is not there yet, give it a few years, also they are already using the name for the country.

Well it seems to me that Cape Breton and PEI have already been absorbed by "New Brunswick" here.

Yes, Newfoundland was a British Crown Colony until 1949. Which doesn't explain why it's included as a province of the Faraway Land Commonwealth.

I was just wondering if it had to do with alternate colonization, or something that would have Scottish settler favouring Newfoundland (hence New Scotland) and German settlers favouring the whole of Acadia.

Nice, but I don't think that it was necessary to take Nova Scotia and move it to Newfoundland. The whole Maritime region, after all, is still intact.

Well considering the whole thing is pretty much fractioned from the rest of the territory, I can see how it would be pushed in that direction, I wonder what happened that pretty much splitted Quebec out of the land.
