Rhinosore was the first kaiju to appear on Earth, changing the world as we understood it. It's unclear how it appeared, but we do know it first appeared in the African savanna north of Congo. It managed to devastate many smaller cities with crushing blows and even a beam of energy projected from its chest horn before making its way towards Kinshasa. Regular ordnance proved ineffective at deterring the beast, but naval artillery did eventually force it back. A coalition was formed by leading nations from across the world, hoping to develop a way to deal with this newfound threat. Using flesh dropped from Rhinosore, the Defence Against Kaiju Attacks (D.A.K.A) managed to develop naval ordnance strong enough to pierce its Dura Armor. But the kaiju was nowhere to be found, it had disappeared as suddenly as when it first appeared. Years passed with no new attacks, but the world was left with a sense of unease. It's as if everyone knew that this was only the start.

In-universe, the name is supposed to be "Rhinosaur", but due to shoddy translating from Japanese it turned into Rhinosore. By the time the error was discovered the name was already too established to be changed.

I should also note that while I compare the size of my kaijus to Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman, my kaijuverse is entirely separate.
