- Day 4: Burrow

A couple of days after the attack in Japan, Nevada was hit by a particularly strong earthquake. First response on site confirmed a kaiju attack, and jets were immediately scrambled. Its speed and burrowing allowed it to avoid strikes by the jets, but it seemingly had no interest in fighting back. Strangely enough, it was actively moving away from civilization and would circle around as if it was looking for something. After 2 hours it disappeared underground leaving only its tunnels behind. Preliminary tests show that the tunnel went down for several kilometers, but its true depths are unknown. Researchers at D.A.K.A claim that the kaiju still remains underground, but why would it remain when all other kaiju disappeared? Maybe its mission is something different than destruction.
