- Day 13: Amphibious -

At the same time Busan was attacked, Chennai also came under siege. Several boats off the coast of India were sunk due to huge lacerations to the hull, and fearing an impending kaiju attack, D.A.K.A were called in. After detecting a large figure on their sonar, depth charges were deployed. This proved a huge mistake as before the bombs had a chance to explode the provoked kaiju swam away at incredible speed, heading straight for mainland India. Leaping from the water, the frog-looking beast started lashing out at everything in its vicinity with its razor-tipped tongue. It never moved too far from the coast however, and after about 10 minutes of destruction it leapt back into the harbour waters. Noticing its gills, D.A.K.A figured it needed moisture to breathe on land, and it could only survive for about 10 minutes before drying up. Large cables were put up between the buildings, creating a huge web. As the kaiju leapt onto land once again, tanks started provoking it with their fire. Chasing the tanks inland, the kaiju leapt straight into the cables and got tangled. Ordering all units to back off, they waited for the beast to dry out and suffocate. The kaiju had other plans however. Using its tongue and head blades it started to cut itself loose from the cables. Quick to respond, the tanks were ordered to bring down the surrounding buildings. As the smoke cleared, the kaiju had been pinned by the rubble. Some minutes later, it was declared dead.
