-Day 23: Beast-

Panic hit Cape Town as two kaijus attacked at once. Not only did Rhinosore return, but also a new hyena-looking kaiju. Attacking from different sides, they started levelling the city to the ground. Battleships arrived armed with the Tengu rail cannons, and the shots drove the beasts back from the city center where people were currently evacuating. Orcadire arrived on the scene and entered into a grapple with Rhinosore. The three kaijus fought with claws and teeth, but Orcadire managed to hold them off. Letting out an Ion Destroyer that seared the fur on the hyena, he focused his attention on Rhinosore. Grabbing it by the neck with his jaws, he wrestled it into range of the battleships. They were quick to realize and landed two shots with the rail cannons before Rhinosore got out of Orcadire's grip. Sensing blood, the hyena entered a frenzy and leapt at the struggling kaijus. Orcadire responded by hurling Rhinosore at the beast, knocking both to the ground. Charging up a final attack, Orcadire incinerated both in a crackling stream of energy that burned the very air around it. Something was different this time however, the energy pouring out of Orcadire didn't stop. Unable to control the power, Orcadire dove into the ocean to cool down. The radiation he absorbed in China had mutated his cells, and he was changing.
