-Day 27: Ablaze-

While kaijus assaulted the planet, a part of D.A.K.A along with the American government worked on how to attack the alien ship occupying Washington DC. Regular ordnance was unable to pierce its barriers, but a powered up Orcadire would be able to. After having studied several kaiju, D.A.K.A had figured out a way to replicate the signature of a kaiju appearing to lure Orcadire over to America. Their plan worked, as Orcadire's signature moved swiftly across the Atlantic. The Xenopaths did not sit idly however. As Orcadire stepped out of the Potomac River, a bright light signified the appearance of an actual kaiju. Engulfed in flames, the titanic dinosaur roared as it locked eyes with Orcadire. Terasaurus' eyes burned with hatred, demanding revenge for its crushing defeat in Florida. Orcadire took the initiative with its Ion Destroyer, to which Terasaurus responded with a beam of fire. Orcadire proved stronger however, but the beam did little damage. Lunging at each other, the titans fought tooth and nail all the while demolishing the surrounding buildings. Their struggles ended up with both of them falling in the Potomac River, but not even the water was able to put out Terasaurus' burning hatred. The water started evaporating around the two kaijus as they stared each other down. This time Terasaurus was the first to act, shooting a volley of fireballs. Orcadire evaded the shots and charged in. Getting his jaws around Terasaurus' neck, he desperately tried to snap it while trying to ignore the searing flames. Unable to force Orcadire to let go, Terasaurus enveloped both of them in a vortex of flames. The flames seared his flesh, but he did not relent. A loud crack echoed out, and the flames died down. Terasaurus crashed limp to the ground, its neck bent to an unnatural degree. Stumbling back, Orcadire retreated into the ocean to recover. D.A.K.A's plan had failed, but at least it confirmed their assumption. Orcadire was the key to destroying the alien invaders.
