Description

Years have passed since the Xenopath invasion was foiled, but the wounds still feel fresh. While repairs and rebuilds are well on their way, nothing could replace all the lives lost. Among the lost were Orcadire, the kaiju who had given his life to protect Earth and its inhabitants. The threat of another Xenopath onslaught looms over humanity, and with no guardian angel it is up to us to secure our continued survival.

The D.A.K.A has successfully developed a new arsenal from the remains of the fallen enemies and established stations all over the planet, hopefully giving us a fighting chance.

During construction of their Arctic base, an expedition was sent to the glacier that had contained Orcadire. Severe melting had erased any trace of Orcadire's prison, but it also revealed he hadn't been alone. The egg was brought in for immediate study, revealing it was still alive. Mere days later it hatched, probably due to the change in temperature. It was decided to keep the newborn's existence a secret out of fear the Xenopaths would come for it, and so the arctic base became its nursery.

The new generation brought new hope for the future, but unfortunately for us time wasn't on our side...

And with that, Kaijune 2022 kicks off! As per last year, I make all of this stuff up as I go along, so who knows where it's gonna end. If you haven't checked out my Kaijune 2021 posts I highly suggest to, as this continues that story. I have a lot of ideas I had to scrap last year, but hopefully I can bring them back this time.
