Description

India was shook as a rift opened close to New Delhi. The usual blackout was followed by strange interference affecting both radio and TV, seemingly emanating from the kaiju. With their signal scrambled, D.A.K.A had no choice but to send in their forces blind. What they found was a huge cephalopod in a strange suit, just standing there waiting. The interference stopped, but was replaced by a live broadcast. The man introduced himself as the leader of a terrorist organization that sought to subjugate the world with kaiju attacks. He revealed that everything up until now had just been a warmup to work the kinks out of the rift technology, but now there would be never-ending giant monster all-out attacks.

D.A.K.A immediately put people to work to find where the broadcast was coming from. As soon as the broadcast ended, the kaiju lashed out with its tentacles to attack. The D.A.K.A tanks pelted the monster with shots, and while they were unable to pierce the rubbery skin of the tentacles, they made tiny cracks in the dome on its head. Concentrating their shots to a single point on the dome, the cracks started to multiply and soon small streams of water were seeping out. The kaiju crushed tanks under its tentacles as it wildly flailed around to protect the dome, but the skillful D.A.K.A pilots managed to avoid the tentacles while delivering a barrage of missiles. The dome shattered, leaving the kaiju to dry up. Desperate, it looked for any liquid it could find nearby to absorb. It started absorbing gasoline from a destroyed gas station, but the remaining tanks were quick to set it ablaze.

While the monster burnt to a crisp, D.A.K.A was sent into a panic as several rift signals went off all over the world all at once. Their final war had begun.
