Description

The portal in Spain opened and closed, seemingly without any kaiju coming through. Scouts sent to investigate the scene only found a strange chest adorned with golden trims and blue markings. They were ordered to not open the chest, but a nagging whisper in the back of their mind begged them to open it. The whisper grew stronger and stronger until it was an unrelenting scream that wouldn't let up. They flung the chest open, and six spidery arms reached out for the sky. An amorphous shadow with numerous eyes forced its way out of the chest, snapping the spectral chains holding it captive. It began a brutal rampage, ripping everything in its path to shreds. It was getting close to Málaga when Dokubari launched out of the ocean. With his superior speed he had no trouble getting up close, but neither his teeth nor claws were able to pierce the black, rubbery body. Despite this he didn't let up, doing everything he could to keep the kaiju from attacking the city.

The D.A.K.A forces had arrived, but their shots were just as ineffective. Nothing could damage the horrific beast, but maybe they didn't have to? Opening the chest had released it, so closing the chest should imprison it again. While Dokubari and the armed forces distracted the kaiju, a couple of brave commandos on a motorcycle made their way towards the chest. Its many eyes spotted them right away, but Dokubari's constant attacks stopped it from crushing the commandos. Weaving between limbs and ruptured earth, they made it to their target without incident. Suddenly a feral scream echoed through their mind. Pushing through the unbelievable pain, they eventually made it to the chest and with all their might forced it shut. Spectral chains wrapped around the kaiju before dragging it back into its prison.

To prevent anyone from opening it ever again, they had it encased in concrete and stored away deep underground in an undisclosed facility.
