Ok, this is the first flash animation I've ever done.The result looks very simple but creating took me almost foreverz. D:
Well, maybe I should not have started with sth that hard as total beginner, but I just wanted to create this. The result looks at least a bit how I imagined it. XP
I almost gave up with this but finally it was fun teaching this cute draggy to fly.
Hope you like it, it shouldnt take much time to load.

May I ask what tools was made to create this? I'm always searching for new techniques to make animation more practical. Did you piece it together with the tweens and the bone tool? Or was it done frame by frame? Either way it flows really well with no noticeable breaks and pieces. Great piece of work.

the only problem i could see is the slight glitch on the upstroke where the wing net(dono what ist called) shows on both sides of the wing rid(aka the boney part) for one fram

Nice animation. Good wing movement. The neck and head are a bit to bouncy. Most flying animals try to keep there head still in flight to reduce the amount of friction and if they do move their head it is the opposite way their wings are moving. Here is a good reference for bird flying [link] . The wind shapes are a nice touch. Very cute!

No problem. I wouldn't say more real but more like a cartoony feel. It is probably the change in neck size that also makes it look a bit off. But for a beginer this is pretty good. I am use to working more with clay animation and 3D animation. I need to play around more with flash, I hadn't done much with it since the flash animation class I had in college except for a small about of animated avatars.
