The "Razorblade" is a dual-purpose atmospheric and space fighter craft optimised for combat against other small craft. "ISE-3" stands for "Interceptor: Single Engine". The craft is relatively light and has high acceleration and an excellent turn rate, distributed sensors all over its hull and can be flown by one pilot or fly unmanned. The cockpit is large enough to accept a passenger in emergencies, although it would be very cramped, and can be ejected. In order to maintain top combat performance with superior agility, speed and range, the craft does not have a built in linear drive and can therefore not make interstellar trips on its own, depending on a carrier or an external linear-drive-pod that has to be detached before entering combat. It is also not heavily armoured, though its shield system is decent. Armament includes an extendible dual accelerator cannon that can track targets independently and two missile launchers in the wings as well as sophisticated electronic warfare and jamming equipment. The Razorblade can carry small torpedoes and anti-ground missiles if need be, but usually dedicated attack craft would fulfil that role instead.
