Description I am not only a pony of the world and science, but also a pony of literature. I have many published books all over the world and like to think I know about many things. Which is why it was a great surprise when a reader from all the way in Equestria recently sent me a letter on something I had never seen before: A creature that is in many ways like a vampony, but at the same time like a batpony as well. Having data and notes sent to me about the incident of their encounter, I made comparisons to this strange creature to Eponia's own known vampony and batpony species.
I made parallels between the three in my sketches above based on the descriptions I received. While the creature has many similarities to both, I concluded it has no relation to either. In fact, considering the way a pony must be mutated into such a creature requires very specific spells, talents and settings, I doubt it can ever be duplicated again.
So those of you afraid of being turned into bat-brained fruit-sucking creatures of the night can rest easy at least… except for the very real danger instead of being turned into a blood-sucking cunning creature of the night by our resident vamponies instead…

Taken from the description: considering the way a pony must be mutated into such a creature requires very specific spells, talents and settings, I doubt it can ever be duplicated again.

Short answer: No, Vampire Fruit Bat Ponies do not exist. At least not in the sense of the ones from the episode. All things considered though, regular pre-existing batponies are probably vegetarian anyways.

So what about just plain vampire bat ponies. Not vampire fruit bats just vampire bats. Sorry if this makes me sound like an idiot, I'm just trying to flesh these ideas out a bit more.

Hmm... not sure... I guess if they were a batpony that was turned into a vampire that could work?
