Description
Originally intended to explore the grand oceans of alien planets. Now they serve as deep ocean destroyers. Refitted for the purpose of destruction. These vessels are regarded as beasts of the deep, machines to be respected, machines to be feared.The submarine I mentioned that was bugging the crap out of me until I put it to paper and added details. Here it is. Now then, some specifications.
-150 meter length
-8 Torpedo tubes
-15 torpedoes per tube
-Dual-core non-radioactive reactor
-4 exploratory probe launchers
-Extensive Starship-grade sensors and communications arrays
-Active sonar arrays capable of generating audio, kinda like a police cruiser loudspeaker
-Several proximity whiskers
-Single exterior 13x6 meter landing pad
-Multi-layer steel-composite hull
-External armor shell, heavily inspired by a freight-cruiser starship design
-Quad-pumpjet secondary propellors
-Eel and snake inspired primary propulsion
-Single low-depth deployable hardpoint
The primary reason behind the unique propulsion was rather poor performance and efficiency of existing mechanisms in many of the oeans found on the various planets. As such, a search was initiated for a more efficient form of propulsion. Eventually, a solution was found, being Eels and how they swim through water.
That`s pretty much it. Maybe I`ll work this into a comic or something.

The unknown vessel turns towards Komatii's vessel, quickly approaching. It's unorthodox propulsion just barely peaking out above the surface.

Faintly over the radio, you hear, "Submerge and investigate. No previous surface activity was detected." And the vessel sinks into the ocean, still approaching at rather high speed.
(Didn't you say the same thing already? I just noticed that.)

"Follow the vessel closely, we have orders from the admiral aboard the starship. Pursue, match speed and direction."

"Then we must capture the vessel. Full foward, direct pursuit course helmsman. Rear armory, prep a probe for tracking."
*The unknown alien vessel starts closing the distance at an incredible rate.*

*Both torpedoes launch, detonating on impact, damaging a portion of the caterpillar drive.*

Komatii: activate propellers, rudder hard right, spin us around open torpedoes 1-5 *ten in total* torpedoes, Los! *they hit you lose the forward torpedo room

"The damage?"
"Commander, torpedo tubes one and three were damaged."
"Hold on, doesn't this ship have a phaser turret? And are we within the depth limit?"
"Yes sir, but we only have enough capacitor charge for 120 seconds at full power before the power is drained."
"In that case, forward battery, deploy phaser cannon, target their torpedo tubes, sensory array, and propulsion, at full power."
"Aye sir."
*A particle beam is swept right through any armor, destroying the torpedo bay, damaging the port ballast system, and shredding the aft. Effectively disabling the submarine.*
"Attention, prepare a boarding party, strongest units in full combat gear."

*Everybody falls to the floor when the disabled sub lurches as it's shoved upwards by the alien submarine. Metallic clanging is heard as the vessel is docked between the hulls of a trimaran battleship. The top hatch is burned open with thermite, and a hole is cut into the bottom in similar fasion.*
"Boarding teams, either kill or stun anybody you encounter, we must examine their physical anatomy, and potentially interrogate the equivelant of a Captain."

*The top hatch is launched inward, crushing anybody who was standing behind it*
"Admiral, we have entered the top floors." Is heard as large and heavily armored units swarm through, stunning or shooting everyone on sight. Any weapon fired in the direction of these units bounces harmlessly off of their exterior.
"We need to hide." Komatii whispers.

*Immediately, one of the intruders darts him, blurring his vision and paralyzing him near instantly.* "We can recover the body later, our current task is to neutralize everyone."
*Half of the crew are either subdued or slain, and the sub is stripped of it's missiles.*

*A loud creak is heard as the last section of the caterpiller drive and it's closely associated power distribution system is torn away. The lights darken. The unknown aliens and their ships speed away, leaving the submarine adrift.*

The automated drone-ship self-destructs, killing the captured crew. The other ship, which was carrying the caterpiller drive and other parts, went to combat alert, jammed all radio control frequencies. The hostile submarine fires another beam, cutting the disabled sub in half.
After that, a large starship descends from the sky with it's ventral open. It splashes down over the ship and the wreckage of the other. It fires it's thrusters, rising up again, and in a bright burst of light, the starship is gone. And all traces of these alien visitors has vanished, even the strange submarine is long gone.

No. I cannot allow that in the story. Everyone reading would be confused. And it would be nigh impossible for me to depict it properly. It serves as a "Deus Ex Machina", which is a story element that is generally disapproved of. And maintaining a fleet would be pointless for the civilization, they would simply teleport whatever is necessary to where it is needed. Thus, illogical.
I recommend that you change your comment, preferably removing the teleportation mess. Otherwise, I will be unable to publish this as a proper story-comic. You will have 24 hours to comply, from the time this comment is posted.

No, in my story you can only teleport biological items, and the energy used depletes a nuclear reactor, so... just once

That does seem much more reasonable. And you are the one who did initialize this whole thing, so I suppose it is, by technicality, your story, and therefor your own levels of realism.
