Somewhere slightly under 5'8" I guess (not counting the ears). he's about eye level with Goku in most of the movie, who is about 5'8", but his head is a little flatter than a human-ish character.

Technically, yes. But this was written before the film was released. Now that I've seen it myself, I think I may need to change it to something more like "Seeks a challenging opponent" or whatever, because he really just wanted a challenge, and the dream said the Super Saiyan God would give him that.

Good point, and it's funny in the director's cut for Goku stating that Beerus looks like a big hairless house cat, of which he does look from the Cornish Rex/Sphinx from the design of course. And when he wipes the life off the surface of the Earth from his last visit putting the dinosaurs to extinction, do you think that was his minimal attack?

Vegeta could destroy earth back with a power of 18,000, and Freeza can do it without much effort (but a little bit of time) at 530,000. Beerus is MUCH stronger than that, and wasn't even trying to destroy the planet I guess. So whatever kind of attack he did that was supposed to render the dinosaurs extinct (he failed though, don't tell him), was probably done extremely casually.

Yeah! I think it was the minimal to how it does with the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous Period, and I couldn't question the Lord of Destruction who can blast them out of existence.

I recentlly read up on this guys' bio and the plot of the movie and he doesn't really strike me as a bad guy.

Sorta. Birus is the first Hakaishin and has yet to die of natural causes, but like every other being and deity, he can still be killed if someone is capable of doing so.

I too really like his design. Its far different then any of the former antagonists, but still fits in with the DBZ style. Plus its helps that it actually looks like what its based on.....like as much as I love his look, final form cell was a mumbo jumbo of random human and insect parts.

Eh, he kind of resembles Freeza if you break him down into his base design, but it's still different enough that it's not really worth mentioning. I love him now regardless though; he's just got so much more character to him than previous movie antagonists, and is fairly different from the ones who got proper development in the manga/anime.

Yeah, he's my second favorite antagonist (he's got more of and unfortunate job than actually being evil) behind Buu right now, though that could change with the full film.

He has his moments where I start to like him less, like when he absorbs Gotenks and Gohan and becomes a more stereotypical villain. But when he's just himself, without absorbing the heroes, he's just absurd and lovable...even when psychotic. xD

Aside from his design (the more human traits, longer head tentacle) I agree with you there, especially since he didn't seem as threatening when he was intelligent, super buu and kid buu had this unpredictability that made them more threatening, being crazy with all his power really added something

Yeah. Smart villains can be threatening too, but it just didn't keep the same charm as Buu previously had (and eventually returned too).

I just started it today because of a new trailer from a couple of hours ago giving us a full, front body shot of him. If it weren't for that, you probably wouldn't have seen his sheet till the movie was on DVD. xD

You can do whatever you like. I plan on doing the same when discussing the real franchise, but for the sake of this rewrite, "Legendary Super Saiyan" works better since I switch Broli's special form to just grade 3.
