Bio:
First and only son of the Saiyan prince, Vegeta, and the heiress of the Capsule Corporation, Bluma. Unlike his present counterpart, he grew up in a world destroyed by Gero's Artificial Humans. He has a fairly different personality due to living his life in fear and without the influence of most his friends and family.
Notes:
Sheet starts with Trunks defeating the Cell who came to steal his time machine, and ends with his return from the past to tell his friends he defeated 17 & 18 and ended up in the middle of the Bojack battle.

I may be in the minority, here, but I always preferred this specific aesthetic for Future Trunks. I Love that you've updated him, too. He's excellent and you always manage to do the subtle differences between SSj1 and SSj2 that so many people have trouble with. So, yaaay Trunks! Have you ever considered doing SSj3 on this model? re: Long Hair?Β

i always liked future trunks better, he is a warrior that gets shit done... if he was the hero the series would be over faster...Β
too bad you didn't use the powered up muscular form... he looked quite strong, too bad he lost speed.

That's just the point, the Power Weighted Super Saiyan form (Going to call that now), had more power but less speed, whereas Ascended Super Saiyan form like what vegeta has, which i think is a balance between speed and power.

It did have a balance of speed and power, but it was still impractical because of the amount ki it took just to maintain the form. This is where Goku got the idea for "Mastered Super Saiyan" because he concluded that the regular Super Saiyan had the right balance without the extra drain/strain.

I agree that they work pretty well, but on this image specifically, they look a little odd thanks to the angle of his shoes. That's the way they faced in the original image thought, and it would have looked even more odd if I only fixed 'em on the socked outfit. lol

I noticed the socks (they remind me of Android 17) he has in his "Bojack outfit", I don't remember if he had these in the movie or if it is an addition of yours?
And great to see that he later uses his "DBO Sword" after #18 broke it! I always thought it was weird to see it in the Bojack movie! (although it is non-canon, it was one of the movies we could put in the timeline)

It's the socks End of Z and GT Trunks wear. Since they have such similar clothes, I figured Future Trunks probably wears them too, but just doesn't pull them up past his boots. I gave him the socks for a little variety, and can just use the excuse that he pulled them up to keep his tattered pants tucked in.
Well, it's not exactly his DBO Sword, slightly different colors. I just used an alternate color pallet of his regular sword from the manga to serve as a replacement. But all his swords share the same design with different colors (though there are different sheath designs), so whatever. Regardless, the intention was the same. lol

Yeah. Tossed the "SS2 for Bojack" idea back and forth and decided "why not", Gohan can still be stronger.

It very well may be, I'm just not going to actually confirm one way or the other. Some things are better left unknown...for now. lol
Perhaps Gohan and Trunks will just decimate the hell out of Bojack's team since I don't really like them, or the pirates might get enough of a power buff to keep the arc interesting even considering the changes you guys already know about; ie. SS2 Trunks and no Hera transformations.
