Description
Hey, guys!People keep asking me what I use to draw and how I get my lines so clean. Now I'm going to show you!
CLICK HERE TO NAVIGATE TO THE VIDEO:
Anyways, this was largely due to a Tumblr request I got today (yesterday?). Sort of the last straw to break the camel's back. I'm tired of typing everything.
Basically this is me, through sheer power of will and ingenuity, finding a way to film myself drawing. It involves the re-purposing of a vanity case. Don't ask.
Please let me know if this was at all helpful! I really only wanna share what I know and if I don't do that effectively, then that's a problem.
Thanks, guys!

Yeah, a kneaded eraser is available at most stores and is ridiculously cheap. I buy six or seven at a time, then they last me a long, long time! (I keep losing them or dropping them on the floor in dirty public places)
Thanks for watching and for your kind words! You're too sweet!!!

This tutorial was very helpful. I've always been dying to see how you draw Ruth and I'm glad to finally discover how you do so.
I really like the method you taught. During the video, I started working on a drawing and tried using your pencil line method and it's truly awesome.
I hope you do more videos like this in the future. Β

Thank you for the tutorial! I'm definitely going to try using these techniques when I draw, because usually when I'm done I have just a blackened mess of paper because A) I draw way too hard and B) I haven't been utilizing my erasers to their potential!
Clean pages, here I come! O.O
(Oh, and it's called a rolling pin! xD)

Oh yeah, a putty eraser works wonders for keeping your work from smudging!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Also, yes, a rolling pin.
HAHAHA how'd I forget that!!!

Usually smudging with the other type of eraser comes from hand sweat/oil when you brush it off. Since drafting brushes aren't always easy to come by, the trick is to get a small 1" to 2" (about 4cm) flat paintbrush with stiff bristles which is kept clean and dry and in your drawing kit for purpose of dusting stuff off.
