Someone else said something like that too. I didn't see that at all. I just thought it was a big of little fat people. I guess I'm not ambitious enough.

Hmmm...I'll have to be careful here so as not to ruin the show in case you ever watch it.

When Sam and Dean were little kiddies their mum was killed by something evil. After that their Dad became a hunter of monsters and evil things (while trying to track down the thing that killed his wife) and he trained them how to hunt them too. Then Sam left to go to college because he didn't want to live that hunter's life anymore. Then Dean shows up and says that their Dad has gone missing and he needs Sam's help finding him. So they go off to find him...and the adventure begins!

It's a very funny show. Funnier than most 'comedies'. It's intentinally funny too...in case you were wondering.

but imagine if you lived near where comiccon was held... not just an anime convention, but a COMIC convention. artist's alley would be full to bursting of cutesy anime stuff but you'd be the only bro with sweet little batverse and supernatural swag. you'd make a killing XD

you can be both intentionally and unintentionally funny but still be an AWESOME show. just look at dr. who

I never thought of doing chibis in that context! Yesssssss...I'd almost act on that if it wasn't so expensive to set up a table at the convention here, and if I thought people would give a shit. Seriously...when I was at the convention there were only 2 or 3 people that were pimping their doodles and they seemed to be getting ignored. I do need some sort of convention that isn't over-run by anime fanatics. Although...90% of my watchers seem to be anime fanatics themselves.

i'm not an anime fanatic. i'm just a person who engages in fanatical activities, which occasionally revolve around an anime

well.. the accents DO help. but i mean it's a good sci-fi show wich dome really creative things about it, but the special effects... sometimes a bit lulzy XD;

That's pretty good. If the con here got 10 booths then I'd probably feel more motivated to set-up one of my own. Then we'd be able to console each other over the fact that no-one gave a crap about us.

And if I was to stop and really think about it...you don't really spazz about anime at all. Apart from Hetalia but I don't think one thing makes someone obsessed with the medium.

But the show has ice cream cones rolling around saying "Exterminate!". If a show has that then you know you're probably not going to be experiencing the latest in special effects innovation. That reminds me...I was looking at this message board a few days ago and they were all talking about James Bond and this guy goes "There aren't enough Americans in those movies."

it's true. i went through a brief but disgustingly intense weeabo phase early in high school, but then i realized that most anime bores me. then i realize how FUCKING ANNOYING weeabos are. so now i'm at that odd place where i love cosplaying and fandom crack, but want to throw large objects through panes of glass when people use japanese honorifics on characters WHO WOULD NOT USE THEM IF THEY HADN'T BEEN DRAWN IN JAPAN. seriously; they're PERSONALITY INDICATORS, not ACTUAL SPEECH PATTERNS. AND JAPAN SPELLS IT "ERU" SO THAT THE PEOPLE THERE WILL PRONOUNCE IT CORRECTLY AS "L", NOT BECAUSE HIS NAME IS "REALLY" "ERU". GOD... DAMN.

Exactly. There's comfort to be found in mass rejection.

I had a very brief moment of "MUST WATCH ANIME!!!" but that's because I found places that were renting movies so I gorged myself. But after four or five movies it was all over and I was ready to move on. I certainly didn't stick around long enough to learn anything about Japanese customs in vocabulary. But then...I WAS just trying to see some cartoon tits.

Don't worry...we have douches like that too. The people who think everything should revolve around their country. It sounds like you had one of them over there teaching classes.
