Description So I started this a very long time ago, trying to work out the exact dynamics of these three pokemon to make them a realistic (or at least as close to realistic as possible) and so here they are: Clefable, Clefairy and Cleffa.

Cleffa is depicted as a sort of 'pupae' form, or young caterpillar perhaps is more like it, with a squat shape and a limited number of legs but a few others are forming along the ridges of its body.  It bears two antennae, those which are retained throughout its growth but change slightly in format to coincide with the life cycle's stages.  It has hair on its body just like its older stages but it is a fine, underdeveloped sort of fuzz that gradually grows longer every time it eats.

Clefairy, in preparation of changing into a more mobile winged form, is doubled in size and is covered in a thick sort of 'fur' that grants it a thick, robust appearance.  It is still short for a caterpillar-like creature and its antennae grow thick with fur just like the rest of its body.  Its head is swallowed by oversized eyes that are more mantis-like, each large orb filled with what appears to be a pupil that always follows anyone looking at it; its vision is excellent and carries through to its final form.

Clefable is considered a moth-like creature with some characteristics derived from butterflies, the wings promoting a glass-like appearance along the edges giving the remaining visible portions the look of smaller, less useful wings.  Its legs are long, almost uselessly so, but in an effort to defend its possible vulnerability in this all of its legs are almost always tucked tightly against its body in the thickness of its 'fur'.
