Description
When Kade Cale broke into the Cedar City Museum with his fellow gang members, the course of the night seemed clear. They would nab a bunch of items off a list, return then to their boss and receive a cut off the profits. Things took a turn however when, in the middle of the museum, Kade started hearing a voice. Breaking off from the group, he entered a separate room, one containing ancient Egyptian relics. These had been gifted to the museum after the Silver Age Horus renounced his role as the vessel of the Egyptian deity. Now they called to Kade. Unable to resisted, he touched the glass. His hand passed through it and came to rest upon the Amulet of Ages, the Cloak of Sands and the newly recovered Falcon Claw, long since buried in the pyramids. Touching them, Kade was overwhelmed with an urge to carry out the mad God’s bloody justice. He fought for control, insisting he could use the power of the items for his own. He planned on becoming a mob boss and ruling over his old gang. Horus did not take kindly to this rebellion. Taking over Kade’s body, he had the man tear out his own eye. Screaming in agony, Horus released him and allowed him to bandage the eye with torn of shreds of the cloak. When the other gang members entered the room, Kade was left with no choice to enact bloody righteousness. From then on he became a very different kind of antihero. This dark avenger is the dreadful new embodiment of the bloodthirsty Horus.
