SO This here is my entry for the ’s four-month contest thingy ^^
Each month a prompt and a medium is chosen, all in honor of the amazing Let’s Player, Cryaotic!!

This month’s prompt was…Time .____. So it had to be done…it’s in the name, people
So I gave this idea some thought; sat and mulled over it for a while.

And then at five in the morning, inspiration hit –inallhonestIwisheditwaitedtillatleasttenbutohwell-

FIRST OFF! The song and the idea of the hourglass. When I think of time and Cry, I think of how much time I’ve spent watching his videos. When I am working on projects, I will put a playlist on and pretty much binge watch a series while working, snickering away as I draw while listening to the commentary or character interactions (I think we all agree Cry’s laugh is brilliant!)
The first series I watched from him was his playthrough of Corpse Party….subscribed right after the first episode And managed to sit through the next 12 hours of the play through with no problems.

I also think of the time and effort Cry puts into making his videos. He has excellent comedic timing and edits things smoothly with a touch of wit, which I like (and know how difficult it can be at times )

So to represent this, we have le hourglass with the YouTube logo reflected in it, the link of time between fans and Cry.

The song used as inspiration for this idea is from Savant’s collection of brilliant music! As many know, a lot of Savant’s songs often are played in Cry’s outros. It’s where I first discovered his cool tunes, and since then have been listening to a lot of his albums. Even managed to get a few lovely pieces of work from inspiration from them.

The pose I chose for Cry in this image is reminiscent of the thumbnail seen in his ‘Cry Reads…’ series (which I really enjoy XD).

The black and white motif with the low key lighting relates to my realism collection of sketches mostly (as can be found in my gallery for this style) but also relates to the fact that we don’t know what Cry looks like. We don’t know his hair or eye color, so….I just went with black and white to be on the safe side.

Out of all the Let’s Players, Cry is certainly one of my favs. Regardless of how long he has been doing this for, or how many subscribers he has, his focus and character have remained mostly the same. He does this not for the fame or fortune or blah, blah, blah. He does it because he enjoys playing games. And I think that’s neat ^^

I also love his randomness XD The thoughts that pop into his head at times when he is playing…
