The story is proceeding very well, but... I don't know, there's some manga-influence in the way you have scripted it. I'm not talking about the plot, I'm talking about the style in itself. But it is a good thing, I think ^_^
Also, I haven't forgotten about the first version of the first page yet... oh my, it was so hilarious

Answer to your first question: yes it is anime influenced, if you look at my Gallery, I have a lot of Manga/Anime artwork.
Second: No promises on a date on part 4. I have about 3 commissions to do, and an animation I currently working on (MLP of course) it's a Flash animation.
