I love your take on Incineroar's design! Even if I love him despite everything, I'll admit I wouldn't have minded some tweaks in its design. The idea of it being half-way between bipedal and quadrupedal is very interesting !

I could imagine wild Incineroar looking like something like this, while the official ones are domesticated and gained their bipedal stance, humanoid body structure, and wrestling techniques from human influence.

That makes more sense now that I think about it, though I usually imagine that whether Incineroar's stance is quadrupedal or bipedal depends on a combination of the individual's preference and what they feel is best suited to the task at hand. For example, if fighting a taller opponent whose height comes from their legs (for example, Araquanid), moving on all fours turns the opponents height difference into a liability by allowing Incineroar to strike from below; on the other hand, if the opponent is shorterΒ thanΒ Incineroar, a bipedal stance creates a difference in height that can be readily exploited.
