Description Okay well thanks to my good friend and a marvelous role play she and I decided to get in to I have for the first time in a long time turned my focus backwards in time to an old video game concept of mine called Will To Survive (WTS). While the art has aged horribly and looks far below my standards nowadays the concept was always rather interesting and solid! So thank you Oreo ^^ I will be updating all the old drawings and uploading the reduxes here for all who are interested to see or for some of my old die hard watcher and friends who may remember the old drawings ^^

WEAPONS INFORMATION:

X3HE Battle Rifle: The X3HE Battle Rifle is a Semi Automatic Marksman Rifle that fires a single round as fast as the user can pull the trigger sporting a healthy clip size and an accuracy up to a long range. In the hands of a skilled marksman this rifle can pick of Cure and armored attackers from afar and can often be the defining moment between life and death with a well placed shot.
Combat Knife: The Standard Issue for all Free Alliance Armed Combat Personnel. An effective and reliable Melee weapons a Combat Knife is often the last line of defense a Trooper can rely on. When weapons run dry, fail, or jam the Combat Knife when drawn is always ready to draw blood and offer the strong a way out of certain death.

Energy Pistol: The Energy Pistol is an advanced armament originally fielded for Police and Free Alliance Security Personnel. While small and compact the lasers this weapon projects are powerful enough to keep armored assailants and Cure pinned down. It's semi automatic and able to throw a powerful laser discharge as fast as its user can pull the trigger, its energy based nature removing the need to reload in combat. However do to its small nature and the battery that powers the weapon it can be over extended in situations of prolonged fire or when used against heavily armed or durable attackers. The Energy Pistol should not be used as a primary choice when fighting armored criminals or assaulting Cure hives and should always be kept charged to avoid field power outages.

X-1000 Grease Gun: A relatively old design modified with some to most of the modern parts and abilities. While this gun is common among Scavengers and rebels it is often viewed as a junky hobbled together weapon despite it's limited use in the FA. Possessing a poor accuracy at far ranges the weapon more than makes up for it's lack of range through direct stopping power.

DOX Shotgun: The DOX Shotgun is a high powered pump action combat shotgun effective at close to near medium range with stopping power its soul focus with reliability and functionality a high second. Whenever a DOX is pulled in a close quarters fight and the distinctive loading noise is heard attackers will think twice before moving in. A high magazine size and solid design for melee situations ensures one will always dominate a close quarters situation.

M513 Ion Rifle: A recently perfected prototype weapon that uses large tanks of Ionized plasma gel which when heated upon firing form bolts of contained energy bolt that can inflict heavy damage upon anything the Ion Rifle is aimed at. The complex nature of the weapons sees that it fires sets of rapid fire shots and cannot be reloaded until the set is completed. This awkward firing system prevents the weapons from melting itself but holds the weapon back and presents noticeable and easily exploitable firing flaws which have prevented this weapon from entering mass production.

M1-Grenade: The M1-Grenade is the steadfast standard issue Fragmentation Grenade of the FA with an explosive yield powerful enough to slow temporarily the Cure Juggernaut Caste

M2 HY Grenade: The M2 is a specialized chemical Grenade which is filled with a corrosive liquid that upon detonation sprays across an area. The explosive yield is less powerful than the M1, but with the ability to temporarily cut off narrow passageways with a pool of burning corrosive liquid it more than makes up for its lake of brute power with longevity. Handle with extreme care.
Trip Mine: More powerful than ancient C-4 Explosives the Trip Mine can be used as either a breaching charge, a demolition charge, or if the laser trip wire is activated a hidden mine. The Blue beam does have a minor sweep function ensuring that if a target is nearby it will be caught and taste its explosive power. Good for laying traps and securing an area.

LRE Sniper Rifle: The LRE Sniper Rifle is the Standard Issue Anti-Personnel Sniper rifle for the FA with moderate anti-Armor capabilities. The LRE is considered a Jack-of-All-Trades Sniper, whatever platform of war the Sniper is used it its adaptability, incredible power, limited noise, and large magazine size it will usually rise to the occasion. It's scope alone has several different view modes ensure that targets do not escape a Sniper's ever watchful eye.

Energy Lash: The Energy Lash is a mainstay and standard issue Melee weapon of the Police forces with moderate usage in the Free Alliance. It's narrow blade and lightweight body are designed to give the weapon exact needle-like precision and an air of grace. While it can burn through most armor after repeated slashes and initially has more power than the Combat Knife it's limited battery life had prevented it from replacing the Combat Knife all together.

Delayed Charge: The Delayed Charge is another standard issue grenade to the FA Infantrymen and often seen in the Police force. It does not possess the power of the M1 it is more than able to clear a room. It's concussive force can stun nearby enemies and produce enough smoke to disorient foes. It's long fuse makes it good for rolling into far off areas and distant targets. However that same fuse makes it ineffective when a quick explosion is required to take out fast moving Cure.

E-11 Ghost: The E-11 Ghost is well deserving of its name as it is built for those who prefer to stick to the shadows and use quietness and confusion as their primary allies in the battle field. A high rate of fire, healthy clip size, and reasonable stopping power paired with this weapon's near total silence make it more than a match for its fellow SMG the Grease Gun. Used by Spec Ops and high ranking Officers this weapon is synonymous with black operations and high profile missions. Highly effective in combat, certain death to those on the opposite end when in the hands of trained Spec Ops Personnel.

TAWE-50 Combat Rifle: The TAWE-50 Combat Rifle is one of the single most common standard Rifles issued by the FA. Whereas the Battle Rifle is a single shot weapon the Combat Rifle has two settings, Burst fire and Semi Automatic. It's a perfect Jack-of-all-trades rifle with a more than healthy range, high stopping power, comfortable clip size, durability, and effectiveness in close to medium range combat. For a Soldier who is not ready to commit to marksmanship but wants more control and accuracy than a fully automatic weapon the Combat Rifle is a match made in heaven. Cure and bandits alike think twice when this little number walks out into the battlefield. Note, while uncommon this weapon has been known to jam after prolonged use and quick reloads. Studies are currently being run to find the cause of this.

Lead Pipe: The Lead Pipe is the pinnacle in modern day Caveman-eqsue club warfare for men or weapon who need a weapon fast but only have civilian and non combat/weapon items around. Commonly found in warehouses or among other plumbing. Grab one and go make a lasting impression on some new friends.

XOKO-25 Assault Rifle: For the Marine in the trenches who need a weapon who can lay out a constant spray of suppressive fire while dealing with close to medium range targets the XOKO-25 takes up that solemn duty and spits out her rounds with protecting her users to fight on another day! Every round fired is backed by brute force and the intent to kill or brutally maim whatever it touches. While it's rate of fire is slower then the Grease Gun or Ghost the XOKO-25 is plain and simply a powerhouse meant to mow through targets that pop up in front of a soldier. While its clip is a tad undersized and it can be out shot by SMGs and certain other weapons, this is a weapon with a single task in mind that should never be counted out. A Fireteam of Marines armed with this rifle in a single trench dug in an old scrap yard was able to hold their ground against Cure Destroyers, Hounds, and Stalkers for 36 hours through the night until a break in the lines allowed them to advance and rally local units who had been pinned down. When a situation calls for automatic fire, light weight practicality, and the ability to get the job done there are few who will disagree with this rifle.

UF-1 Torpedo Launcher: The single ultimate way to tell an enemy "You've fucked up." This Rocket propelled mini missile is designed and has rejoined in the splendor of a career comprised of blowing through armored units, areal vehicles, troops, weapon emplacements, and whatever else is brain dead enough to remain in front of this weapon. One Torpedo is all it takes to get the job done, the rest of the clip is just a formality.

Mini-6: The Mini-6 is a six barreled Chaingun designed for use by augmented or physically dominating Troopers. While the user is basically turned into a walking Infantry lawnmower its incredible weight due to the massive internal store of ammunition slows down the soldier in combat greatly to a moderate jog at best leaving them open to sniper or long ranged attacks. Reloading the weapon also requires the user to carry around a SECOND massive ammo drum and is a slow going process that leaves the person completely unarmed until replaced which entails complete disassembly of the rear housing (unless used as a melee weapon). However in the hands of skilled Heavy Troopers, or really anyone strong enough to pull this Excalibur from the metaphorical stone due to its weight, this is the last word in clearing out a battlefield. Note this weapon is also commonly mounted on vehicles as an effective turret and anti-air weapon.

W.O.A-777 Smart Bomb: The W.O.A-777 will leave your enemies saying woah.... well it would if they weren't reduced to confused quivering sub atomic particles after getting caught in this stationary automated linemine's blast radius. A favorite of demolition teams the W.O.A can level buildings, mess up the day of an entire charging army, reduce tanks and armored vehicles to jelly, and alert friendlies of incoming hostiles with a built in scanning system and computer core. The weapon, while highly effective is also highly noticeable to the not blind. When using in combat, place with caution.

LR1 Heated Bolt Rifle: The LR1 Heated Bolt Rifle is a state-of-the-art Weapon designed using magnetic rails to spin and fire improvised projectiles which take the form of small steel slugs from metal refineries, bolts, and other small metallic objects that have previously been considered scrap. As the name suggests the projectiles are highly hot when fired and their primary damage come from that heat and the higher surface size of the projectiles. Will possessing a much higher rate of fire than the XOKO-25 the stopping power of this rifle is rather low due to the ammunition not being shaped for armor piercing or really at all. The Bolt Rifle is held back by this and it's rather averagely sized magazine but makes up for it with a high rate of fire and burn damage to targets.

Dragon 1-16 Flamethrower: No Picnic or Squad sent in to clear out a Cure Hive should ever be without this bad boy. Able to project a massive spray of fire up to medium ranges and effectively char enemies to a nice golden black crisp of death in seconds.

Mack Thomas Series 7 Revolver: The standard issue sidearm and first weapon received by all Free Alliance Personnel as a personal defense system and sign of service. The Mack Thomas is designed with a marriage of tradition, history, and modern combat ability in mind. While the Design is a revolver the firing device is similar if not exactly the firing pin/system of common semi automatic pistols meaning that despite some recoil the Mack Thomas can throw out rounds as hard as a traditional revolver but as fast as the modern Pistol. With a speed loader to make up for the limited seven round chamber this Pistol can easily hold back small numbers and groups of Cure while reinforcements arrive and/or you locate a rifle or higher power weapon. Well placed shots are enough to one hit kill lower Cure classes if aimed for the head and a laser sight built into the Revolver ensures you are always on target. The Mack Thomas has been the symbol for freedom, justice, and the survival of the human race for nearly all of the Imperial Rite/Free Alliance Conflict and the Cure Outbreak.

Thank you ^^ glad to hear it ^^ If you were going into battle though I wonder what would your ideal loadout be? Sidearm, grenade, and so on wise ^^

Well, let's see. There are a few different ways to answer this.

Sarah's loadout: MT series 7 Revolver, TAWE-50 Combat Rifle, M1 grenade
Me, like with my crap skills: Laser pistol, Battle rifle, Delayed charge
What I usually use in games: Ghost (counting as a sidearm/small arm), LRE sniper and Trip mine

Yes! It's so cool, technically Vibra blades are seen in the star wars movies, but not mentioned by name. And they are actually mentioned in Star Trek, DS9 I believe. I would like to see a larger collection of pistols, myself.

That sounds very awesome and interesting ^^ I think I'll have to look into these and do a bit of research ^^ And Pistols? In my list you mean? lol If that's the case then yeah, lol but the enemy they're fighting is rather durable so a sidearm is sort of a last light of defense. A last ditch effort of survival.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Neshta1 In reply to TheApprentice225 [2013-07-26 19:16:39 +0000 UTC]

Yeah that's true. Pistols are small and thus a bit weaker. Still I love them, don't know why. I was just thinking in terms of World building, to see the wide selection of earth weapons, and thus our ingenuity!

Under normal circumstances you would ^^ But the setting of Will To Survive is x2 Post Apocalyptic. These are most of what's left. And note these are only the Free Alliance weapons ^^
