My entry for the Angry Video Game Nerd versus Nostalgia Critic contest.This was a nice little distraction. I was going to draw them anyway, but now that they're having a contest, it was the perfect excuse to do it.
The concept of the contest is pretty basic. Create a poster for the upcoming "final battle" between the Angry Video Game Nerd and the Nostalgia Critic . I initially wanted to do a really wide shot with their outlines standing across an empty plane, with these detailed shots mixed with the background, but then I got lazy and went for the generic explosion background.
To those who were eagerly awaiting the next ~InspectorIroh page, this is why it is delayed. Don't worry. I'll get to it.

I don't mean to insult, but this isn't exactly a very helpful comment, even on the most fundamental level. "Angry Video Game Nerd"- what? Do you want him to win? Is it just an observation? Do you just like to say that phrase? I know it's considered "cool" to talk in straight-cool to-the-point language on the Internet, but this just too vague.

He's not in the whole Nerd versus Critic contest thing, and on top of that, he's a one-shot Internet celebrity. Both The Angry Video Game Nerd and The Nostalgia Critic have their own full-blown Internet video series.
