When a Synergant makes its way up the ranks and survives enough battles it becomes a Nitrodrone. Nitrodrone are the protectors of the colony and lead armies of Synergant across the region. Their tough armor and powerful flamethrowers make them feared by most, and respected by those that aren't, for their size anyways. Drones may be female or male but strangley, only the female Nitrodrones have stingers which are of little use to them.
