Description

Having finally decided to leave with the explorers, Alex places his sword, his loincloth, and the spear he had made as a child into a box in the corner of the treehouse.

Meanwhile, Kamala looks out at the night sky, waiting to hear from Alex. She suddenly hears the sound of shoes walking across the wooden floor, and she feels her heart begin to crumble. Closing her eyes as small tears form, Kamala slowly turns to look at her child, seeing Alex wearing his father's clothing, and immediately turns away to cry.

Seeing Kamala cry, Alex kneels down to wipe away her tears.

Alex: *taking a deep breath* …No matter where I go, you’ll always be my mother.

Kamala: *sniffling* …And you will always be in my heart.

Having said all she could, Kamala watches Alex walk down the path from the treehouse, leaving her all alone.

Kamala: …Goodbye, Alex.
