As Alex continues to sink into despair, a pair of loud roars sound, and two shapes suddenly slam into his cage, knocking it over and forcing the door open.

Professor: *raising his head, oblivious to what’s happening* Oh? That sounded almost like a Jaguar and a Tiger!

Alex: *Seeing his rescuers to be his two best friends* Zunari! Yaotl!

Yaotl: *rushed with so many emotions and giving Alex a big hug* "I thought I would never see you again, and here you are..."

Zunari: *pulling Yaotl close to him and giving him a smug look* Sometimes, you embarrass me!

Now free of his bonds, Alex unties Lyndsey, and the two of them begin to untie Professor Rathbone.

However, Yaotl's happiness at rejoining his best friend is cut short as he suddenly notices something in the back corner of the tent.
