IMPORTANT NOTE, especially for Hitler admirers:I don't like him. I don't think he was a great leader, a great politician or a great man. He was weak and ignorant, a madman, a very sad, very wicked person.
So if you're one of those who admire him please think the matter more thoroughly.
I just made a photo-manipulation of him without his mustache.
Eternal shame to his name and deeds.

If I remember correctly, when he was younger when he served during World War 1, He had a bigger mustache. The biggest mystery, why did he shave it to look like a square? The world will never know.

He shaved it to stand out. His speeches against Communism where well liked, but he had no symbol and wasnt recognized until he adopted the swastika and shaved his mustache to a square.
His example for this kind of political tactic was the communist Leader Vladimir Lenin, who was a world wide figure, bearded and bald with a symbol of the hammer and sickle.
Hitler simply wanted to become known to Germany and the rest of the world as a major figure.
