Description
Here are the completed legs from my most recent digitigrade costume leg build. The materials used to create these range from PVC Pipes, Wood, Metal Signs, parts of Window Frames, Hot Glue, Duct Tape, Masking Tape, Painters Tape, Electrical Tape, Nuts, Bolts, Washers, Wood Screws to Wire (12 gauge or 14 I don’t remember), Wash Towels, Yarn and Fake Fur.
Sorry, but I don’t have pictures of these without fur (I seem to have forgotten to take photos), but the detailed concept design/plan can be found here: [link] which shows a pretty good representation of what’s inside and their basic construction.
This is my most comfortable, light, and realistic build yet. Each leg weighing around 3 pounds. I weigh around 135 pounds and around 5ft 8inchs tall and as you can see I have quite a thin build. I haven’t measured myself while wearing the legs but I’m guessing they add a little over 1ft to my base height.
The legs look a bit odd without the padding on the back of the upper leg (Haven’t gotten there yet). I might remove a little from the foot length in the future as well.

I've always thought about designing legs like this. Yours are the best I've seen by far. I do want to go further with something like this and make them more functional by giving assistance to walking. If I want to run it would spring me forward, while if I want to walk it absorbs shock from walk. Another feature would be landing from higher elevations. If you have any ideas on designs please PM me as I can fund it.

Do you do costume commissions by chance?
If so how much would a costume go for?
And would I need to contribute anything other than money?

Quick question: Are stilts like these easy and comfortable be active in? (jumping, hopping, running, danceing etc)

They look amazing, but they seem like they'd be really uncomfortable to walk/stand in.

Hello, I had a question about your design. I was wondering if you knew what the measurements for the wood you used and at what angles you placed them at. I am in the middle of building some stilts but they seem really off balance and my base is rather large and clunky. I am having trouble and I absolutely love your design and was wondering if you could give me some pointers.

Please could you tell me how it is to walk in them? Is it comfortable? I tried it to build similar stilts, but it is impossible to walk in them.....

O_O... Can you stand straight in them without falling over!?... This intrigues me, I must own them... Or make them. Either way, it leads to me owning them.

These are so awesome! I'm actually working on making a pair of digitigrade stilts myself that are about the same angle, but they put a ton of weight on my toes and it hurts after a while. Do you have any ideas that might help?

A long, long time ago I think we discussed digitigrade leg stilts. I see you've done some amazing work. I love the sleeker design. I wish you'd had a step by step because I'd absolutely kill to use this design in a costume I'm trying to plan out.. Either way, major kudos on the work.
One last question: How are the feet/shoes attached? Does gravity make your toes or the ball of your foot sore from the angle at all?

Holy monkey these are impressive and one of the best set of digigrades I've seen by far. I love how the proportions fit your own leg so they're not crazily bulky.
Well done man, well done

Isn't that difficult to walk in? It would appear to hold your leg at a very awkward angle.
