low gravity beastie inspired by Salvadore Dali and my daydreaming of what animals might look like having evolved on a planet or moon with less than earth's gravity, expect more of these guys from me in the future

yes he's amazing! i love the colors you used. i was showing this to one of my coworkers (also a dali fan) and he fell in love with it. he's a 3D artist. he said wants to make it in a 3D program he thinks it's so cool you should check out his stuff

i told him. he said he really wants to, i think he will as soon as he's done making trees for some other project, lol. i'll make sure he gives you the credit and stuff... and i'll keep harassing him to make it cuz i wanna see it in 3-D also. that would be uber neat cuz it's a beautiful design

Simply gorgeous. I adore the creature, very beautiful. it reminds me of a famous picture of elephants that are all elongated like that. But this is prettier<3

yeah, i've thought about ways to sculpt this, and i think i'd like to do it one day, but the legs would maybe have to be reinforced with some heavy wire or something. i guess it depends on what materials were to be used.

Personally I would go for a polymer clay with a garden wire and tin foil armature attached to a base

I'm sitting here trying to school Teresa on what a low gravity beasty is, it's mating habits and it's habitat, all while she injures me and stabbs me with pens. this is made increasingly difficult because i have no idea what i'm talking about. though it is a beautiful creature, and a very well painted one.
