Gotta agree with you on this deviation, however I would swap Regina and Naruto's places. Naruto is the Gary Stu, while Regina is the unrelatable character.

Bless you dude for disliking/hating Naruto Uzumaki! However, I dislike/hate him because he's a Gary Stu. Unfortunately his insane fans are everywhere on Deviantart and make my (and probably others) life Hell. Infact, I was talking to and thanking another person for doing the same as you when one of the rabid fantards jumped on me and started harassing/trolling me. Even after I blocked him, he still kept replying and stalking me like some freaking psycho! Naruto (the character, franchise AND fandom) are like a parasite or disease that poisons society and needs to be removed once and for all. Be careful and take care of yourself, because the Narufags can and will do horrible things to everyone who disagrees with them and doesn't worship their Gary Stu. Good luck and best of wishes.

Yup, I have to agree with you. Both the Naruto character and the series (and his fans) are terrible and horrible. Wait, aren't ''terrible'' and ''horrible'' one and the same? Anywho, sorry about your bad experience with the toxic Naruto fandom. Those people have done plenty of terrible/horrible things both in real life and on the Internet. Unfortunately, they cannot be reasoned or dealed with, only thing you can do is avoid and block them (seriously I should stop using redundant words). The Naruto franchise and rabid fans are like a cancer to humankind. Wish you a good life and hope that no Narufag/Narutard harasses you ever again.

At first when I joined DA I was paranoid since this website is crawling with him and his insane fans who can do pretty horrible things... Then again, whole Internet (and possibly whole planet Earth) is infested by Naruto fans, who are like vermin. Good to see someone who shares my view. Dude, you are cool in my book. I'll admit. I'm a huge Naruto fan, but even I will admit that he is extremely flawed as a character. Gaiden Naruto makes me cringe. He loves his job more than his family, and he is very lacking in humility. His personality has became almost as unpleasant as Sasuke.
Paul is not just any Jerk Sue. The DP writers/executives coddled the prick as if he could do no wrong. Watching Paul lose to Ash in the Lily of the Valley Conference was candy to my eyes and music to my years.
Orihime and Serena are among the most poorly developed characters in anime/manga history. They're just glorified fangirls (Orihime's Kurosaki-kun makes me want to shove ballpoint pens into my ears). When it comes to character derailment, the Orihime train fell off a cliff and exploded! She can't even make up her mind! Both IchiHime and Amourshipping are one-sided rip-offs of NaruHina with extremely poor chemistry, and that's not saying much because NaruHina is lacking in chemistry too.
Oh, and that psycho that CrashBandicoot-Girl commented about is me. I started bullying her because she blocked me after dismissing me as a troll, and I got angry because I felt that she didn't give me a chance to explain myself. I'll admit that I caused her emotional harm and I regret everything I did. If you want the blow-by-blow please send me a note.
CrashBandicoot-Girl, if you are reading this, I am truly sorry for bullying you. I respect your opinion on Naruto (and I agree that he is somewhat of a Jerk Gary Stu) and I'll never harass/stalk you again. As for you, TheDeviousDude, I respect your opinions too.

Roxas is kinda boring and whimpy, but personally I sorta feel all the "good guy" characters of Kingdom Hearts are just sooo bland...(I was always an Org XIII fan, even if I admit they have some problems here and there).
And yes, Peter and Gwen would be fine if the movies hadn't really...made them out to be these amazing pair of kick butt scientists and like, have all this nasty Anti-Harry and Anti-MJ discourse along. What was special about them in the comics is that they were ordinary people who had problems, but they still liked each other and had friends, and Gwen was just this sweet girl whose life was cut tragically short.
And Meiko...Ugh. She's like every bad force inserted Mary Sue in a bad fan fiction. I hate how we waste so much screen time on her and the other characters are like, written so out of character...

Fuck those bastardized Titans. Starfire's the only one with some decency, but even she can get annoying with too much of her antics.
What's funny about Roxas is that in KH2 he was only really "bland" in comparison to all the other main characters because his Twilight Town persona was a basic everyman character while we didn't know much about his original self. Then he got an entire game to himself as the main playable protagonist and somehow he's BLANDER than he was before! Why is this a character that Nomura insists on giving continued prominence?
Nina was a perfect choice for her category. Her character, how she was written, and what the point of her even was made no sense, especially in R2.
I never thought "the Evil Queen from Snow White is a Mary Sue" was something that could ever be a reality, yet they really went there with Regina...
Lemongrab's always disturbed but it just wasn't in a fun way when went fat. The Starlights are toxic, nothing more to add there. And Sam and Naruto are sad cases 'cause they started off with potential to be so much more than just a self-righteous, bitchy Goth/Rebel stereotype and an unrelatable bore respectively, but they went off the rails pretty quickly.
LOL at Paul getting the exact same spot that I gave him, though Regina, Sam, and Sasuke Uchiha (not pictured here) could easily go there too.
I lament the fact that Allen Gregory De Longpre exists. And Wander always came off as a pale Fixit Felix Jr. imitation to me, but at least Felix's over-the-top niceness didn't make him a downright Author's Darling like Wander!

Never much liked those incarnations of Peter and Gwen to start with, but the fanbase made them come off so much worse. In fact, the same can be said for Serena.
Orihime's kind of the opposite of my pick for that, Bloom - with Bloom they kept piling on character flaws that the series had a refusal to recognize as flaws since it pretended that Bloom was practically perfect in every way. With 'Hime, Kubo took away a lot of her flaws and the character lost any sort of "edge" she ever had, neutering her by making her a whiny, pacifistic softie with an obsessive love for Ichigo, and the series refused to recognize this softening up of her character as a bad thing.
The best things I can say about Meiko is that she and Mimi have nice chemistry together and she's at least not Tagiru Akashi. Other than that, she's Serena 2.0. And Meicoomon does not interest me in the slightest. Never did.

That's because she's still got a pretty good design and voice. The others, not so much.
His whole shtick is just "he's Sora, but darker and angstier!" Except that I don't want a darker and angstier Sora, this is a freaking Disney series! He, Riku, Axel/Lea, Xehanort and Sora himself are the ones who got it the worst in character derailment and overexposure as this series has gone on, but as you say, Roxas' character in KH2 wasn't anything special to begin with, so he's the one who makes this list.

It's especially galling since Regina was much more evil than most versions of the Evil Queen.
Even before Naruto had his character derailed, I couldn't relate to him. The emotional responses he had to his entire life's situation was just alien to me. Didn't make him a bad character, just one that I personally had little investment in.
Felix's over-the-top niceness was mostly a joke, and it made it all the funnier when he did get angry and frustrated later on. Wander is just too unflappable, which makes him a really, really boring lead. Lord Hater's the true main protagonist for a reason.
Meiko and Meicoomon's biggest problem is that they defeat the alleged purpose of their own series. Wasn't this supposed to be all about a reunion of the original 8 kids and Digimon, which is why the 02 kids and Digimon got axed? Why, then, give us these characters, and make the plot all about them?

Yeah, I know that some Amourshipping fans can ruin the overall impression about her, but at the same time it's wrong to judge all Serena fans that they're into Amourshipping and force others into their views.
Tbh, I'm more against Ash hogging screentimes, because he holds the companions spotlights back, and seeing Serena interacting with other Pokegirls is what matters me more.
It didn't really matter to me if people likes her or not. I just want to see people putting their imaginations at work instead of complaining yet still begging hard at the anime producers to give them what they want.

I've done some fan stuff with Serena before and I have fun with her when I not taking stuff like her crush on Ash seriously at all. It's the diehard Amourshippers' insistence that her feelings for Ash puts her on some pedestal above other Poke' Girls and makes her this ultimate heroine of the franchise that confounds and annoys me. Despite being a female traveling companion who has a canon crush on Ash and even kissed him in the end, the sad truth is that in the grand scheme of things, Ash and Serena wasn't going to go anywhere more than the ship teases between Ash and other girls in the past (Misty, Melody, Latias, Casey, Macey, Anabel, Angie, etc.) Ash is never going to return feelings of love for him even when it's literally right in front of his face (as it was in the kiss scene - he had basically no reaction to the kiss itself but responded to what Serena said after it 'cause he could understand that better.)
I personally could not stand Ash in the XY/Z series, which is why I put him on my own disliked character meme. For all her faults as a character, even Serena didn't get under my skin that much in comparison.
