1 Two Face: “Harlequin. I was told you weren’t in the know on this location.”
1 Riddler: “Circumstances changed. The big guy was unavoidably detained. She’s here as his agent.”
2 Two Face: “Okay. Not as though I have much choice in the matter.”
2 Harlequin: “No, you don’t. You should remember that.”
3 Riddler: “I have new case files. The first one is another corporation, Horizon Energy. Two of their scientists, William Rosser and Vernon Lewis, were involved in the faulty electrical power design – and subsequent cover-up – that caused the Castleton Flats tenement fire. And all the associated deaths.”
3 Two Face: “I don’t need to flip. Was there anyone else at the company responsible for the cover-up?”
4 Riddler: “My research in that direction has been… inconclusive. I’m sure these two are guilty, though. Next up is a political target; John Chambers funneled a lot of money illegally to Carl Finch’s re-election campaign. It was through a shell corporation, but the receipts are included. You’re just to kill Chambers; I understand that you’ll progressively work up to people closer and closer to Finch, so he knows you’re coming. A little psychological warfare before the hammer drops.”
5 Harlequin: “Should be right up your alley. And all in service of tearing down a corrupt institution so it can be replaced with something fairer, of course.”
5 Two Face: “Building a better society, are you? Why do I think yours somehow won’t have a Bill of Rights.”
6 Harlequin: “You live in an aspiring democracy, with aspiring free speech.”
6 Riddler: “Next in the docket is a pedophile seventh grade teacher and the principal who protected her, allowing her to accumulate a dozen victims over five years.”
