1 Two Face: “You… you’re playing a long con.”
1 Mister Freeze: “I am. And unless I miss my guess, so are you.”
2 Two Face: “This cannot go on. All other considerations are secondary. And only people like us have even the possibility of getting close to him. Yes, I agreed to his bargain.”
2 Mister Freeze: “So the question remains. What is his price for you?”
3 Two Face: “He’s making me the amoral murderer he wants me to be. That he wants me to sink to. Some of the blood on my hands now… it won’t wash off. Some of the people I’ve been killing… they aren’t who I would choose to go after.”
3 Mister Freeze: “I suppose we all find out who we are when winter comes, and food is scarce. But while I am glad to know your mind mirrors mine on the subject, we are not the makings of a very effective revolution. Or counterrevolution, as the case may be.”
4 Two Face: “I don’t think the Riddler is completely loyal either, but he’s under the Joker’s thumb and won’t rebel if there’s a chance he or his girls will be hurt. As long as he can’t account for all of Harlequin, Clayface, Poison Ivy, and the Joker himself, he’s never sure if all three of them are safe from reprisals.”
5 Mister Freeze: “The Joker will be expecting both of your disloyalty. He will have planned contingencies for your betrayal. You think you are playing him, but you will never get the opportunity you want.”
5 Two Face: “I fear you’re right. He’s too smart. Or too adaptable.”
6 Mister Freeze: “It’s just foresight on his part. It isn’t a superpower. But I hasten to add – he has absolutely planned contingencies for your potential insurrection. And the Riddler’s. And possibly even for mine. But I doubt he has planned for all three of us at once.”
