I barely polished this one. I was just so happy that I managed to whip something up and it didn't look terrible.Scene from short story in the works under same name. It's the follow up of Wasn't Meant To Be.

Been off DA for a few days, but coming back to this after everything made me smile from ear to ear. 
Even unpolished, I can tell you've got your demons outta the way and a pencil in hand. Mud's expression really interacts with Hailey's... Faved

No rush. Just remember, you have to read Wasn't Meant To Be first before Fragile. As for the sketch, it started as simply a rough profile of her face and I just started dabbling more and more, adding him at the last minute actually. The short story this is attached to just played like a movie in my head and that particular scene stuck with me.
It's getting there. Couple of drawings, another short story in the works....baby steps.

Okay, I'm on it ASAP. It's wonderful, even if you do think it's rough. I'm sure like you said, there's a lovely link behind it aswell, which I will get 'round to reading and probably appreciate this more.

Oh wow, D, this is amazing... I can SEE the worry and concern so clearly on Murdoc's face here, and the absolute blankness on Hailey's. 
Really excelled yourself with this one, Murdoc is the focus, his whole world on hold until he can bring Hailey out of her funk.

This was what I wanted to be seen. Glad that came across. Blank expression, easy. Worry? Another story entirely.
The only thing I caught is the angle of his face (he was supposed to be sort of looking up, head lowered, that type thing), but otherwise, I was glad with how it turned out.
It's not the greatest, but compared to that atrocity I uploaded a few days back, much better, LOL.
